Joe Biden and Donald Trump recently squared off in the first Presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle.

Most Americans agree that Biden did an awful job as his significant physical and cognitive decline were on full display for the world to see.

And now two-time U.S. Open Champ Bryson DeChambeau sent social media into a frenzy over his take on the Trump-Biden golf debate.

Most Americans were perplexed as this bizarre argument unfolded on the national stage

Last Thursday, Americans tuned into the highly anticipated first Presidential debate of the 2024 election.

Right from the beginning, former President Donald Trump appeared very lucid, articulate, and on message.

President Joe Biden on the other hand stumbled through his answers and talking points, even stalling out on several occasions.

However, one of the most perplexing parts of the debate involved the two candidates sparring over their golfing skills.

Following an attack from Biden on Trump’s mental fitness, the former President clapped back by pointing out that he “won two club [golf] championships — not even senior — two regular club championships.”

“To do that, you have to be quite smart, and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way, and I do it,” Trump said. “He doesn’t do it. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a golf match—he can’t hit a ball 50 yards.”

Biden rebutted, claiming that Trump’s claim “that he’s a six handicap” was “the biggest lie.’

This feud over golf immediately sent social media into a frenzy, with people on both sides pointing out how sad it is that America has declined to the point in which the Republican and Democrat Presidential nominees are more concerned with arguing over their golf games than all of the many issues plaguing the nation.

Two-time U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau even chimed in, offering to settle this score once and for all.

“Let’s settle this whole handicap debate, I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden,” DeChambeau wrote on X.

Since DeChambeau made the offer, the X post has millions of views and thousands of interactions.

Many Americans have since expressed their interest in seeing the two candidates duke it out on the golf course, a spectacle that would attract the attention of millions of people across the world.

However, such an event seems highly unlikely, given the resentment the two hold for each other.

Additionally, after years of embarrassing gaffes and missteps, such as his falling up the stairs of Air Force One and seemingly being incapable of riding a bicycle without falling over, it would seem to be incredibly unlikely that Biden would take up the challenge.

Biden set himself back significantly with his debate performance

Polls already show that the vast majority of Americans believe President Biden lost the debate.

Not only do they agree that he lost, but he lost in humiliating fashion.

Democrats have started to call for somebody to replace him, even though the election is just several months away.

To many Americans, Joe Biden appeared feeble, tired and weak while attempting to debate Donald Trump last Thursday.
