The woke outrage mob’s efforts to destroy Harrison Butker for being a Christian are backfiring in a major way

Harrison Butker sent sparks flying across the nation with a call to action for Catholics earlier this month.

The radical Left is now targeting him for destruction.

But the woke outrage mob’s efforts to destroy Harrison Butker for being a Christian are backfiring in a major way.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker and three-time Super Bowl Champion Harrison Butker gave a commencement speech at the Catholic Benedictine College earlier this month. 

The theme of the speech was centered around traditional Christian values, and to push back against the cultural rot prevalent in modern-day America thanks to Democrats’ woke extremist agenda.

Butker is tired of “polite Catholics.”

The kicker told the graduates that it was time to stand for the “Church founded by Jesus Christ,” and to reject ideologies that run counter to it. 

That resulted in the woke left-wing outrage mob calling for his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs to be terminated.

Outraged by his call for traditional family values, social media saw a rise in posts by radical Leftists, and #firebutker began trending. 

 

Woke extremists even started a petition on Change.org calling for the Chiefs to terminate his contract. 

The petition has since received over 200,000 signatures. 

But Butker shouldn’t be dismayed by the woke outrage mob’s efforts.. 

There are people standing to support him too.

Butker jerseys fly off the shelves

Butker directly addressed women in the crowd during the commencement speech. 

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” he said. 

“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring to this world,” he added.

Despite the woke left-wing outrage mob’s outcry over Butker’s comments, the female version of his jersey was the first to sell out on the NFL Shop. 

Within ten days of the viral speech, every size of Butker’s jersey made for females were sold out.

Now, the men’s jerseys are almost sold out too. 

Shooting ahead of his more “mainstream” teammates, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, Butker’s jersey now occupies the top spot on the NFL Shop’s “Top Sellers” list.

And his support doesn’t stop there.

“I really respect Harrison and his Christian faith. . .”

Butker has been receiving an outpouring of support from conservatives online and in the media. 

But now, his teammates and colleagues are standing in solidarity with him. 

Chiefs defensive tackle Christopher Jones saw the petition from Change.org and immediately responded.

“I love you @buttkicker7! My brotha,” he wrote.

 

The daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, Gracie, took it a step further by endorsing traditional family values while defending Butker. 

“I can only speak from my own experience, which is I’ve had the most incredible mom who had the ability to stay home and be with us as kids growing up,” Hunt said. 

Though she recognizes that “there are many women” who feel like it’s not an option to stay home, she believes it was “really formative” for her as a young child. 

 

“I really respect Harrison and his Christian faith and what he’s accomplishing on and off the field,” she added.
