Democrats’ media allies have dropped any semblance of objectivity and truth in favor of exclusively pushing Democrats’ propaganda narratives.
As a result the vast majority of Americans are finally starting to tune their nonsense out.
And now Donald Trump just uttered two glorious words that sent taxpayer-funded NPR into a total meltdown.
Completely exposed
Most conservatives agree that taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) has demonstrated a Democrat bias for many years now.
And earlier this week, NPR Senior Editor Uri Berliner issued a scathing exposé, exposing NPR for what he regards as flagrant and overwhelming bias.
In response, former President Donald Trump made it very clear that if he wins the 2024 election, he will do everything in his power to cut taxpayer funding for NPR.
“NO MORE FUNDING FOR NPR, A TOTAL SCAM! EDITOR SAID THEY HAVE NO REPUBLICANS, AND IS ONLY USED TO ‘DAMAGE TRUMP,’” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “THEY ARE A LIBERAL DISINFORMATION MACHINE. NOT ONE DOLLAR!!!”
As Trump pointed out, Berliner’s essay noted that the NPR editorial staff consisted of 87 registered Democrats, but not a single registered Republican, or even Independent.
“So on May 3, 2021, I presented the findings at an all-hands editorial staff meeting,” Berliner wrote. “When I suggested we had a diversity problem with a score of 87 Democrats and zero Republicans, the response wasn’t hostile. It was worse. It was met with profound indifference.”
“I got a few messages from surprised, curious colleagues,” he added. “But the messages were of the “oh wow, that’s weird” variety, as if the lopsided tally was a random anomaly rather than a critical failure of our diversity North Star.”
Berliner then noted that “a top NPR news executive” reached out to him about the matter via email, and told him “that she had been ‘skewered’ for bringing up diversity of thought when she arrived at NPR.”
“So, she said, ‘I want to be careful how we discuss this publicly,’” he noted.
NPR isn’t an outlier – it’s the American media’s norm
Fewer people than ever before get the news from the radio or newspapers, turning to digital media such as podcasts and social media.
Experts attribute this shift to a number of causes, but, the overwhelming left-wing bias pushed by the American media is undoubtedly a major cause.
Many leftists around the globe have become aware of this shift, resulting in massive investments in so-called “misinformation” prevention, which more often than not serve as censorship mechanisms for leftist governments that wish to control free speech.
If Donald Trump makes good on his promise to provide “No more” funding for NPR, then it could devastate the media giant.
