The Biden regime’s disastrous open borders agenda has created an unprecedented national security and humanitarian crisis as millions of illegal aliens are flooding into the U.S. each year.

Democrat-controlled “sanctuary cities” face the reality of their Party’s agenda
During the Trump administration, Democrat-controlled cities across the United States began to push back on the federal government’s efforts to bring illegal immigration under control.
San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Denver were just a few of the Democrat-controlled cities that vowed to stop enforcing immigration laws, and set out to make space for the settlement of illegal aliens.
But by October 2023, these so-called “sanctuary cities” were buckling under the pressure of the reality their policies created, and began crying out for support.
Denver Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston wrote a letter co-signed by the mayors of Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and New York City, requesting financial support from the Biden regime to deal with the illegal immigration crisis in their communities.
According to the letter, the federal government had already provided them with taxpayer funds, but it wasn’t enough to handle the “high numbers” of illegal aliens that they were facing.
“Given the impact this crisis has had—and continues to have. . . we respectfully advocate for additional funding,” the letter reads.
Denver spends tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on illegal aliens
Now, Denver continues to struggle, and the city is finally making a change, but it’s not what the actual citizens of the Democrat-controlled city would like to see.
According to a report from SCNR, “Denver, which has a population of roughly 710,000, has taken in more than 40,000 migrants, which Johnston says is ‘the most per capita of any city in the country.’”
The city has spent more than $68 million to provide food, housing, and medical care – all expenses many working class Americans are struggling to afford under the Biden regime – for illegal aliens.
This is putting a strain on resources in the city and they don’t have much time before they run out of support for illegal aliens.
City officials are again asking for more federal assistance stating that they will need to reduce the labor force committed to the issue.
But the city has another solution to the burgeoning problem.
Denver announces massive cut to police department
“After more than a year of facing this crisis together, Denver finally has a sustainable plan for treating newcomers with dignity while avoiding the worst cuts to city services,” he said in a press release last week.
Johnston says that his new plan is “proof” that they can solve the “hardest challenges” while being “compassionate” and “fiscally responsible.”
The city announced a combined total of $89.9 million in budget cuts to make more funding available to illegal aliens who have moved into their community.
And $8.4 million of the cuts will come from the Denver Police Department’s budget.
Housekeys Action Network slammed the plan saying it will be bad for locals and the population of illegal aliens.
The advocacy group said that illegal aliens and their families would be forced into “dangerous situations” after being “kicked to the streets.”
