Concerned parents from all walks of life have been pushing back against Democrats’ woke extremist indoctrination of government schools in a big way.

But often supposed Republican strongholds can be just as big of a problem.

And now these desperate parent’s gut-wrenching plea for the Supreme Court to save their child from this Republican-led state’s woke insanity will rip your heart out.

Indiana parents investigated for not using their child’s “preferred pronouns”

In 2019, Mary and Jeremy Cox were faced with a situation that they never would have expected.

Their son came to them and informed them that he believed that he was born in the wrong body, and began to identify as transgender.

The parents took the necessary step of sending him to a therapist where they thought that he would receive the help that he needed.

But the parents didn’t do much to determine whether the mental health professional would line up with their beliefs.

It turned out that the mental health system where the therapist practiced aligned with the woke extremist opinions of gender transition proponents.

Not long after the family received notice from the state of Indiana that they were under investigation for supposedly “endangering” their child.

The allegation was that they weren’t using the child’s “preferred pronouns,” and the state began a lengthy investigation into the parents.

“If this can happen in Indiana, it can happen anywhere”

The state’s investigation determined that the parents were not properly “affirming” their child’s gender identity, and they promptly removed him from their custody.

The parents were only allowed supervised visitation in which they were not allowed to discuss religious values or human sexuality.

“This is what every parent is afraid of. We love our son and wanted to care for him, but the state of Indiana robbed us of that opportunity by taking him from our home and banning us from speaking to him about gender,” the Cox’s said.

The state eventually dropped the investigation, but their son was kept away from them despite multiple appeals.

Now, the parents are fighting for the rights of all parents in America.

“If this can happen in Indiana, it can happen anywhere,” Lori Windham of Becket Law explained.

This is “an outrage to the law, parental rights, and basic human decency”

The last step to fight back against this injustice will be at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mary and Jeremy Cox have now filed with SCOTUS, requesting that they review their case and bring their child home from the foster care system.

“We are hopeful that the Justices will take our case and protect other parents from having to endure the nightmare we did,” they said following the filing.

According to the filing, the parents are asking the Court “to strike down the Indiana court ruling and protect the rights of all parents to raise their children consistent with their religious beliefs.”

“Tearing a child away from loving parents because of their religious beliefs, which are shared by millions of Americans, is an outrage to the law, parental rights, and basic human decency,” their legal team said in a statement.

Windham warns that this issue could continue to impact families across the country if the Supreme Court doesn’t agree to take this case.
