Yellowstone fans have to wait until November to see how their favorite drama concludes.

But the show’s creator isn’t resting on his laurels – he’s busy churning out more hit shows with the same recipe that made working class Americans fall in love with Yellowstone.

And now Yellowstone fans came unglued after showrunner Taylor Sheridan made one game-changing announcement about his next project.

Taylor Sheridan’s next hit show is already in production

No one in Hollywood is creating, writing, developing, and directing more original hit TV series right now than Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.

His shows have hit the top of the ratings by actually producing shows working class Americans – not just the metropolitan elites who control the attention and focus of most Hollywood executives – want to see.

Whether it’s Yellowstone, its spinoffs like 1883 and 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, or others, Sheridan has used the same down-to-earth model – often described as “red state Game of Thrones” by Big Media elitists – to enthrall working class audiences.

Sheridan is currently working on his next big hit, and he just scored a big new lead that is sure to intrigue fans as they wait for the debut.

Billy Bob Thorton has a co-star

For Sheridan’s next show, he’s moving his focus from a ranch in the Big Sky State to an oilfield in the Lone Star State.

Landman will be set in modern-day west Texas.

“Story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics,” the show’s description reads.

The line about “reshaping our climate” is concerning.

And Sheridan isn’t exactly casting the show with conservatives.

Though, he is adding acclaimed actors to the Landman’s top billings.

Billy Bob Thorton has already signed on to play the main character.

But Sheridan now has inked his female lead as well, as Demi Moore has officially been added to the Landman cast.

“Demi Moore is an iconic and extraordinary talent,” said Showtime/MTV Entertainment studios CEO Chris McCarthy. “We are thrilled to have her join Billy Bob Thornton and the star-studded cast of [‘Landman’], our next epic series from Taylor Sheridan.”

Demi Moore joins the ranks of Sheridan stars

While Moore is best known for her roles on the big screen – like St. Elmo’s Fire, Ghost and a Few Good Men, to name just a few – she’s no stranger to the silver screen.

She can currently be seen on FX’s Feud playing the part of Ann Woodward.

The Brat Packer had a recurring role on Empire a few years ago, and was in more than 100 episodes of day-time soap opera, General Hospital, back in the early 80s.

While a release date for Landman has not yet been announced, production is already underway, and it’s possible the show could debut before the end of the year.

When it does hit the airwaves, Moore and Thorton will join a long list of A-list stars who have plied their craft for Sheridan shows, including Kevin Costner, Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, David Oyelowo, Nicole Kidman, Helen Mirren, and more.
