The reason this American Airlines flight was forced to turn around will leave you rolling in laughter

The American commercial aviation industry has been taking some pretty serious hits lately.

But this is one problem that could bring one of the major airlines to its knees.

And the reason this American Airlines flight was forced to turn around will leave you rolling in laughter.

Been a rough start in 2024 for the airline industry

Most people have heard the saying, “when it rains, it pours.”

And for the American airline industry, this is especially true as they keep getting hit with headline after headline of bad news.

When COVID came around the airlines held on by a string and really only survived due to government bailouts.

Then, when the COVID vaccine was mandated, the airlines lost countless pilots who would rather lose their jobs or retire than take the vaccine.

And now, the airlines are paying the price for forcing the vaccine as now they need to rapidly fill 17,000 positions to just meet current demand for flights.

Give it a few years and that number will skyrocket, if people don’t fill the open positions.

But it looks like the issue of major understaffing may be resolved by another growing issue for airlines – unsafe airplanes.

So far this year, there have been countless incidents in which jetliners fall apart on the tarmac, and even in mid flight.

On January 5, an Alaska Airlines’ 737 Max 9 had a near catastrophic event as the door ripped off the side of the plane.

No one was seriously injured, thankfully, but the door just randomly ripping off has forced the FDA to call for an inspection of all Boeing 737 Max 9s for an issue with the “plug” and bolts in the door.

And so far, it has been discovered that numerous other planes inspected have the same issue that caused the door to blow off the side of the plane.

But if that wasn’t bad enough, Boeing now has planes losing wheels, as one Delta plane was about to take off earlier this week, but lost a nose wheel right before takeoff.

Airlines may have thought the worst was over, but they just met their worst nightmare, and it could be the final nail in their coffin.

A smelly situation for American Airlines

Reports are coming out about a very unique situation that completely stopped a recent American Airlines flight in Phoenix, Arizona.

According to an anonymous Reddit poster who claims to have been on the plane, a drunk man boarded the plane and caused a scene.

Nothing unusual, but after passengers told the drunk man that he was being rude, the man started to rip some fat farts.

The passenger on Reddit claimed that the guy was yelling, “You thought that was rude? Well how about this smell,” as he proceeded to let it loose.

From there, the Reddit poster claimed that the “man who just purposefully farted moments ago decides to loudly and condescendingly say ‘Yeah, everybody, let’s just eat the smelliest food possible all at the same time.’”

The man, dubbed “fartman” by the passengers, proceeded to get in an argument with his fellow passengers after his farting episode.

At that point, the flight attendants had enough and the plane was turned around on the tarmac.

“We get back to the gate and a flight attendant comes back and informs fartman that he will not be staying on this flight,” the anonymous Reddit poster added. “He simply replies, ‘I don’t understand’ and she tells him they’ll talk about it off the plane.”

Needless to say, airlines are shaking in their boots, because it wouldn’t take many more fartmen to put most airlines under at this point.

Should a passenger be kicked off a plane for excessive farting?
