Mitch McConnell has been in Republican “leadership” in the Senate for decades now.

And for decades he’s been betraying the working class voters who are the sole reason he and his fellow ruling class elites are in office to begin with.

But now Nancy Pelosi is grinning from ear-to-ear over Mitch McConnell’s latest and most dangerous backroom partnership with Chuck Schumer.

Pass the bill to find out what’s in it

Perhaps the signature legislative “achievement” of former President Barack Obama’s eight years in the White House was the so-called “Affordable Care Act,” more commonly known as Obamacare.

Of course, Obamacare did the exact opposite of what it claimed it would.

Instead of making health insurance more affordable, the policy put insurance coverage out of reach for millions of working class Americans as premiums soared for the middle class.

Obamacare even created a new tax for healthy Americans who didn’t think the cost of insurance was worth the coverage offered.

It also lessened the quality of medical care as thousands of doctors chose to leave the profession rather than continue under the new law.

To pass Obamacare, Democrats used every legislative trick in the book, and lawmakers weren’t given time to read the more than 1,000-page bill.

Then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) infamously declared that “you have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.”

And now, the Democrat Congresswoman is grinning from ear-to-ear as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) is teaming up with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to do the same thing for President Joe Biden’s disastrous new immigration bill.

Senators to vote on Biden’s immigration bill before reading it

President Biden and his fellow Democrats are trying to disguise a new piece of legislation that would spend $106 billion in taxpayer money to more quickly process illegal aliens into the U.S., provide countless free handouts, and offer de facto amnesty, as a “border security bill.”

Unsurprisingly, Democrats are almost unanimously on board, and claim that these new magnet policies will somehow fix the Biden border crisis.

And the Chamber of Commerce wing of the Republican Party is right there with them, with McConnell and his cronies leading the charge.

McConnell and Schumer have finished drafting Biden’s immigration bill, and they’re now pushing for a vote as soon as possible.

So soon in fact, Senators would hardly have a chance to actually read what’s in the bill.

In an op-ed for The Federalist, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) said he’s been asked if he’d be ready for a vote early this week.

Lee fears this is a dangerous new trend in politics, laying out the four-step process he sees repeating itself over and over again in the Senate.

“1, Spend months drafting legislation in complete secrecy,” Lee wrote. “2, Aggressively market that legislation based not on its details and practical implications (good and bad), but only on its broadest, least-controversial objectives. 3, Let members see bill text for the first time only a few days (sometimes a few hours) before an arbitrary deadline imposed by The Firm™️ (McConnell and Schumer) itself, always with a contrived sense of urgency.”

“4, Force a vote on the legislation on or before that deadline, denying senators any real opportunity to read, digest, and debate the measure on its merits, much less introduce, consider, and vote on amendments to fix any perceived problems with the bill or otherwise improve it,” he added.

Lee has vowed to do everything in his power to delay the vote until the bill’s actual contents have been read and properly debated.

That may be easier said than done if the four horsemen of cronyism – Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and McConnell – have anything to say about it.

Should Republicans remove Mitch McConnell as Minority Leader for his border betrayal?
