The ruling class elites only want the American people to know what they want them to know.
As such the Biden regime tried to hide this jaw-dropping report on illegal immigration.
But that plan blew up in their face.
The Biden border crisis continues to shatter records
On a late Friday afternoon, the Biden regime released the newest number of illegal border encounters.
The Southwest Land Border Encounters report, which is released every month, came out later than normal this time.
What was uncovered was an earth-shattering insight into the newest problem: a record-breaking 250,000 illegal aliens were apprehended at the southwest border in December.
The real number shows Border Patrol agents apprehended approximately 249,875 illegals in December 2023 at the border between ports of entry – which, of course, doesn’t take into account all the illegal aliens who entered the U.S. undetected.
The figure is up a whopping 12% from last year when 222,018 illegal aliens were encountered by agents, and it is 11% higher than the last record of 224,370, which occurred in May 2022.
In total, the December report brings the number of illegal alien encounters at the southwest border to 630,000 for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2024.
Over half, or 325,739, of the encounters were single adults followed by 268,818 family units, and 35,118 unaccompanied minors.
CBP officials released a written statement in which they claimed to have “taken significant steps to surge personnel and resources to impacted areas and address challenges we are experiencing across the southwest border.”
“Encounter numbers continue to fluctuate, as smugglers and bad actors continue to spread falsehoods and show complete disregard for the safety and well-being of vulnerable migrants,” the statement continued.
The Del Rio and Tucson Sectors accounted for over 150,000 of the almost 250,000 illegal alien apprehensions in December.
The figure of 80,185 illegal aliens in just the Tucson Sector is up by over 260% from last year’s December report of 22,131.
The Del Rio Sector reported that they apprehended 71,095 illegal aliens in December, up by almost 38% from last year when the number was 51,701.
The Biden border crisis is spiraling
These recent figures from the White House prove that the illegal alien crisis in America is spiraling out of control.
The San Diego Sector was the third busiest in December, reporting 34,372 illegal alien encounters, an increase of 81.4%.
Over half of the encounters were with illegal aliens from countries like Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, while Venezuelans accounted for close to 100,000.
That number compares to over 200,000 Venezuelan illegal aliens who were apprehended in the entire Fiscal Year of 2023.
But it’s not just people from South and Latin American countries crossing the border – the number of Chinese illegal aliens is also on the rise.
Agents encountered nearly 6,000 Chinese illegal aliens in December, up 931 from last year for a total of 15,000 encounters in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2024.
As for January, CBP officials stated that “the first two weeks of January saw an over 50% decrease in southwest border encounters between ports of entry according to preliminary figures.”
Only time will tell if that’s actually the case.
