Former Vice President Mike Pence is struggling to pick up momentum in the Republican Presidential Primary as working class Americans reject his dated call back to Bush-era establishment Republicanism.
No where is Pence more out of touch with GOP voters than in his slavish devotion to the ruling class elites’ war hawk foreign policy of supporting endless wars all over the globe.
By comparison, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy continues to gain ground in the polls by supporting an America First foreign policy that is more focused on safeguarding America’s national security by securing the border than footing the bill and shedding American blood for wars that do not serve the interest of the United States.
Pence’s latest attempt to appeal to the ruling class came when he misrepresented Ramaswamy’s policy towards avoiding a war with Iran, which the establishment has been begging to make a reality for decades.
Ramaswamy explained that he would not send American soldiers to sacrifice life and limb in a war between Iran and Israel, and that the United States would help stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon by supporting Israel’s right to defend itself from a murderous Iranian regime that would wipe Israel off the map if it could.

Pence seized on the quote to falsely claim Ramaswamy would allow the Iranians to commit genocide against Israel.
“@VivekGRamaswamy announcing that he will not use military force to defend Israel against Iran demonstrates a profound lack of understanding about defending American interests and our most cherished ally,” Pence claimed on social media. “Weakness Arouses Evil. Vivek’s hesitation to send a clear message of support for Israel will only embolden the radical Islamic mullahs in Tehran as they continue to target innocent American civilians and threaten to annihilate Israel. Peace comes through strength. America Stands With Israel!”
Ramaswamy fired back, slapping down Pence’s falsehoods by explaining that he only promised to not involve American troops in another never-ending Middle Eastern war, and that he fully supported Israel’s right to defend itself.
“Another flagrant distortion by the neocons,” Ramaswamy responded. “Watch the actual video. I said we would fully support Israel, including militarily, but that we should *not* want U.S. men & women dying in a war between Israel and Iran. If Pence, Haley, Christie, and Rove feel differently, they should have the spine to say how many Americans they’d be prepared to see die in that conflict. I’ll wait.”
Former President Donald Trump also defied the ruling class elites’ foreign policy doctrine, and kept the U.S. out of a war with Iran despite the establishment war hawks’ best efforts to make a war a reality.
Vivek Ramaswamy’s pledge is in keeping with an America First foreign policy, whereas Mike Pence is serving the wishes of the establishment war mongers in pushing for a war with Iran.
