Sometimes it’s a simple fact of life that truth hurts.
That’s especially true when the subject in question specializes in left-wing propaganda.
And now Twitter just smacked NPR with a label that has Democrats seething with rage.
National Public Radio, the taxpayer-funded arm of Democrats’ propaganda machine, just reached a new milestone.
This week, the outlet earned a new badge on Twitter.
It’s a move that has already left Democrats seething with rage, while at the same time, earning praise from Americans who’ve grown accustomed to NPR’s blatant left-wing tilt.
It all started Tuesday night when Twitter users first noticed that NPR’s official account had been labeled “US state-affiliated media.”
Twitter labeled NPR “state-affiliated media” which is now on par with Russian state media. Hilarious! pic.twitter.com/ufsLN5BKmd

In the wake of the up roar, Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk shared the platform’s Help Center definition for state-affiliated media, and then really dug the knife in when he said it “seems accurate” for Twitter to label NPR’s account as such.
According to Twitter’s Help Center, “State-affiliated media is defined as outlets where the state exercises control over editorial content through financial resources, direct or indirect political pressures, and/or control over production and distribution.”

Predictably, Democrats’ took umbrage with the label as they would prefer to live in a fantasy world and cling to the belief that the outlet’s reporting is neutral – after all, it’s 100% to their benefit, so why wouldn’t they continue with the charade?
“Truly insane,” One Democrat tweeted. “Elon Musk’s Twitter has labeled NPR as “state-affiliated media” a label it places on Chinese/Russian propaganda outlets. NPR gets less than 1% of its funding from the federal government and it’s content is in no way controlled by the government.”

But NPR’s own website is at odds with that claim.
NPR was established by an act of Congress, receives taxpayer dollars annually, and even emphasizes the importance of its revenue from “federal funding.”
According to the NPR website, “Federal funding is essential to public radio’s service to the American public and its continuation is critical for both stations and program producers, including NPR.”
“Public radio stations receive annual grants directly from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) that make up an important part of a diverse revenue mix that includes listener support, corporate sponsorship and grants,” the website continued. “Stations, in turn, draw on this mix of public and privately sourced revenue to pay NPR and other public radio producers for their programming.”
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a “Private Corporation Funded by the American People,” according to its own website.
There’s no way around the fact that it is just a pass-through for taxpayer dollars to reach NPR’s organization.
It’s abundantly clear that NPR operates exclusively as an arm of Democrat ruling class elites’ political machine.
For Democrats, and even taxpayers on the hook for disseminating NPR’s propaganda, the truth may hurt, but at least it’s now out in the open.
