Tucker Carlson mocked Stephen Colbert’s hypocritical Capitol Insurrection attempt

In recent months, the leftists comprising America’s corporate-controlled media have been like a singer at a karaoke bar, following the bouncing ball.

They’re trying to grab onto anything they can to save their Democrat allies in the Midterms.

But Stephen Colbert’s comedy team just got caught red-handed attempting an insurrection at the Capitol – and Tucker Carlson is having the last laugh.

Trump’s third impeachment trial

Democrats are hardly even hiding the fact that their kangaroo-court, clown-show January 6 Committee witch hunt is nothing more than political theater with the hopes of helping their dire prospects in the upcoming 2022 Midterms.

It’s also an effort to keep former President Donald Trump off of the 2024 Presidential ballot – in essence, it’s the third Trump impeachment trial.

Along with the nightly news on all the networks, virtually every newspaper in the country, MSNBC, CNN, and even the woke late night talk show hosts are obsessed with the protest that got a little out of hand back on January 6, 2021.

They call it an insurrection – the worst assault on American democracy in history.

Of course, they seem to forget times when leftists actually detonated a bomb in a Senate office building, or when Puerto Rican terrorists opened fire on Congressmen on the House floor in 1954.

It would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous

But now one late night host and his entire crew are showing their true hypocritical colors.

While accusing January 6 protesters of being “insurrectionists,” Stephen Colbert’s crew was just arrested and charged with unlawful entry in the U.S. Capitol Building.

Colbert’s team was filming final interviews and comedy segments at the Capitol Building without the proper permits or credentials – so, police escorted them out of the area.

However, Colbert’s crew wasn’t going to let a silly thing like the law get in the way of their “comedy.”

They tried to get sneaky and returned to the building after public hours.

The team of seven – led by Saturday Night Live alumni Robert Smigel, better known as the voice behind Triumph the Insult Comic Dog – were spotted by security taking pictures and videos around the offices of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and firebrand MAGA Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).

Law enforcement officials say more charges could potentially be forthcoming.

Tucker Carlson gets the last laugh

While some on the Right took the matter very seriously – even asking the question of it the camera crew was running reconnaissance for the Democrat Party – Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was amused by the hypocrisy of the matter.

“Last night, producers from Stephen Colbert’s show on CBS committed insurrection at the United States Capitol,” Carlson said – taking a page out of the left-wing media playbook.

Tucker pointed out that for a year and a half, Colbert and his ilk have “spent the last year and a half telling you that unauthorized violations of Capitol space are a coup.”

“Liz Cheney, call your office,” Carlson mocked, suggesting a separate committee be empaneled to investigate the latest “insurrection” attempt.

“Adam Kinzinger’s crying at the thought,” he added.

Who is funnier?
