Joe Biden and the radical Left have spent the last few years trying to paint conservatives as terrorists.
Now RINOs are joining in with them.
But Tucker Carlson just put this RINO Congressman in his place for what he said about Trump supporters.
When Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) first ran for office, he tried to paint himself as a conservative.
But his actions and voting record very quickly proved he was a John McCain, Jr.
For example, Crenshaw has recently spent his time in Congress advocating for near unlimited tax dollars to Ukraine, while pushing for red flag gun confiscation laws to disarm law-abiding Americans.
And Crenshaw recently said during a CNN interview that conservative members of Congress who oppose Kevin McCarty’s (R-CA) bid for Speaker are terrorists.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson hit Crenshaw hard on his smears
But Tucker Carlson was having none of it.
“They’re terrorists now? It’s hard not to see the connection, because over the past few years pretty much every part of the war on terror has been turned against the domestic political enemies of the neocons. So now they’re coming out and telling you what they told you about Iraq: Either you’re with us or against us. You’re on the side of light or darkness. You’re good or evil.” Carlson said.
Crenshaw’s decision to call conservatives terrorists is especially concerning considering how Joe Biden’s DOJ and FBI have been going after conservatives.
They have even labeled parents “terrorists” for showing up to school board meetings, pro-lifers have been arrested and given federal charges for peaceful protests, and the FBI has worked with Big Tech to silence conservative speech.
Crenshaw now joins the Biden administration and the radical Left.
He has also recently defended the FBI and even said conservatives who want to reform the corrupt and partisan federal agency are like radical leftists that want to defund local police departments.
Not surprising from a man who’s goal seems to be to become the next Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee.
Conservatives have good reason to be wary of McCarthy
Carlson also called out Crenshaw for being dismissive of the concerns of anti-McCarthy conservatives.
“What you just saw as Dan Crenshaw just spoke, what you just saw is the snarling face of the donor class, revealed for all to see finally,” Carlson said. “The deep loathing of disobedient voters that may be their most passionate secret emotion. They’re not bothering to hide that emotion anymore. Now you know how they really feel.”
The fact is, recent House Speakers from both parties have run the chamber as a dictatorship, rather than the people’s representative body.
Leadership staffers write legislation thousands of pages long behind closed doors and members aren’t even given enough time to read them before voting.
Members are also stopped from ever being able to offer amendments on the House floor.
Back when conservatives started to rebel against Speaker John Boehner for this, the establishment put forward Paul Ryan and promised things would be different.
Then Ryan turned out to be just as bad if not worse than Boehner.
Conservatives are right to be skeptical that McCarthy will be any different.
