The investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling scheme has the entire nation on the edge of their seats.
Piles of evidence has thus far indicated that Joe Biden and his family were up to their necks in corruption accepting millions of dollars in payouts from hostile foreign nations.
But now this damning evidence just backed Merrick Garland into a corner he may never get out of.
Democrats will do absolutely anything to cover for Joe Biden
Over the last several months, the House Oversight Committee, led Rep. James Comer (R-KY), has uncovered a treasure trove of damning evidence against the Biden family.
Pages of bank records indicate that President Joe Biden and his family ran an influence-peddling scheme, pocketing millions of dollars from hostile foreign nations in exchange for favors from then-Vice President Biden.
Unsurprisingly, the White House and Congressional Democrats are furious over the investigation’s mere existence – one would think if there was nothing to hide, they’d be happy to prove it – and will do anything to shield Biden from prosecution.
But the more evidence that comes out, the more the walls close in on Biden and his inner circle.
Earlier this month, Rep. Comer subpoenaed the FBI for documents that allegedly suggests that President Biden participated in a quid pro quo scheme, and the deadline for the FBI to turn it over was this last Wednesday.
But Wednesday came and went without the FBI turning over the documents.
Instead, Christopher Dunham, the Department of Justice’s acting assistant director in the office of Congressional affairs, claimed in a letter to Comer that the FBI was not prepared to comply with the subpoena.
Dunham claimed that the FBI could not release this form as it was “sensitive law enforcement” information, but stopped short of denying its existence.
“It’s clear from the FBI’s response that the unclassified record the Oversight Committee subpoenaed exists, but they are refusing to provide it to the Committee,” Comer said in response.
“We’ve asked the FBI to not only provide this record, but to also inform us what it did to investigate these allegations,” he added. “The FBI has failed to do both.”
But what he said next has President Biden, and his Attorney General, Merrick Garland, steaming with rage.
“The FBI’s position is ‘trust, but you aren’t allowed to verify,’” Comer concluded. “That is unacceptable. We plan to follow up with the FBI and expect compliance with the subpoena.”
The FBI’s refusal to comply with congress is very revealing
Over the past couple of years, public trust in the FBI has plummeted.
Instead of keeping Americans safe, the FBI has morphed into the secret police for the radical Left.
The FBI’s refusal to cooperate with Congress on this relatively simple matter shows that their political bias dictates everything they do.
The Rule of Law is a foundational principle in America’s legal system, and Biden’s weaponization of the FBI, DOJ, and entire federal law enforcement apparatus has completely undermined this fundamental principle.
Instead of protecting the American people, the FBI is only concerned with protecting Joe Biden.
