People have been left shocked by the potential fate that three pro-lifers are facing.

In comparison it has also been brought to light that pro-abortion activists rarely face similar charges.

And these pro-life advocates’ freedom is at literally at stake after Democrats’ weaponized justice system scored its biggest win yet.

Life Issues Institute President Bradley Mattes, a 40-year veteran in the pro-life movement, has sounded the alarm about these troubling developments.

Mattes is deeply troubled by recent reports that three pro-life activists were convicted of federal civil rights conspiracy and violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act after staging a protest outside an abortion clinic.

Each defendant faces a potential sentence of up to 11 years in prison, three years of probation, and hefty fines.

What’s particularly concerning, Mattes pointed out, is the stark contrast between the prosecution of pro-life activists and pro-choice activists.

While the former face harsh legal consequences, the latter have been spared similar treatment.

“It’s a blatant politicization of the FBI and Department of Justice. Our government is being weaponized against us. They are using these resources against their political foes, people who dare disagree with them. It is something that really Americans should look at, and it should send a chill up their spine, because this is not the America we know and loved. It’s a different America now. And I’m really worried about the future, not just for pro-lifers, but anybody who stands up for the truth and integrity,” Mattes warned.

At a House Judiciary Committee meeting, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) revealed that under U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s reign, the Biden Department of Justice has prosecuted 126 alleged crimes by pro-life groups, but only four alleged crimes by pro-abortion groups.

Mattes dismissed the DOJ’s claims of impartiality by explaining that Congress has seen evidence, including memos and emails, that clearly demonstrate bias.

He emphasized that the bias is undeniable, regardless of the DOJ’s attempts to deny it.

In another troubling case, five additional pro-life activists face charges of conspiracy against rights and FACE Act violations.

In August, they were all found guilty, and could also face up to 11 years in prison.

Mattes highlighted the case of Mark Houck, a pro-life activist who experienced a horrifying ordeal when dozens of armed FBI agents stormed his family’s home to arrest him in front of his wife and children in September 2022.

“They come to the door, and they try to intimidate, and the people involved, and it’s a scary Third World country that we seem to be living in where they can do this and get by with it,” he described.

Mattes asserted that such actions were intentional, and aimed at sending an intimidating message to pro-life advocates, warning them of dire consequences if they dare to challenge the establishment.

Despite the intimidating actions of the Biden Justice Department and FBI, Mattes urged fellow pro-life activists to stand firm and protect not only the lives of the unborn, but also their fellow pro-life advocates.

“We should be as vociferous as we possibly can be,” he stated. “We need to make sure that we are a voice not only for the voiceless babies but also for those who are being victimized by our government. We’ve got to be vocal about this and make sure that as many people hear about this as possible.”

In these challenging times, Mattes believes that pro-life activists can serve as a beacon of light in a world that sometimes seems dark and unjust.

Their unwavering commitment to their cause may ultimately bring about positive change and justice for all.
