These Attorneys General just exposed shocking censorship from all levels of the federal government

The federal government keeps reaching new levels of tyrannical overreach.

Some days it almost feels like they couldn’t possibly get any worse.

But these Attorneys General just exposed shocking censorship from all levels of the federal government.

An “incestuous relationship” between government and Big Tech

It seems like there’s no escape from the censorship online these days.

If you post anything that goes against the narrative you are blocked, banned, or have “context added.”

This has left many Americans wondering where this all has come from.

Now two state Attorneys General seem to have found the answer to that.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry released a statement to the press announcing their efforts to fight back against the federal government’s wave of censorship.

In it they discuss their lawsuit filed back in May that “seeks to expose how top Biden Administration officials allegedly colluded with social media companies to censor freedom of speech on a number of topics, including COVID-19.”

Attorney General Schmitt explained that because of the lawsuit they have “received a number of documents that clearly prove that the federal government has an incestuous relationship with social media companies and clearly coordinate to censor freedom of speech, but we’re not done.”

DOJ discloses over 45 officials had direct communication with social media companies

Schmitt continued, saying, “The Department of Justice is cowering behind executive privilege and has refused to turn over communications between the highest-ranking Biden Administration officials and social media companies.”

They were able to identify 45 officials from DHS and HHS offices – including DHS, CISA, CDC, NIAID, and the Office of the Surgeon General.

All of which were communicating with social media companies about so-called “misinformation” and censorship.

What’s more, their press release states that the evidence handed over by the DOJ doesn’t cover it all.

“Meta, for example, has disclosed that at least 32 federal officials—including senior officials at the FDA, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and the White House—have communicated with Meta about content moderation on its platforms, many of whom were not disclosed . . .”

That’s right, another 32 officials “were not disclosed.”

It goes on to detail another 11 officials in contact with YouTube for the same purpose.

Uncovering a “Censorship Enterprise” at the highest level of the government

Keep in mind that these allegations are based on communications that have been obtained.

So, that means they have proof that these actions occurred.

Now they’re working on showing Biden’s direct involvement.

They continue in their statement, “The discovery provided so far demonstrates that this Censorship Enterprise is extremely broad, including officials in the White House . . . And it rises to the highest levels of the U.S. Government, including numerous White House officials. Defendants have objected to producing some of the most relevant and probative information in their possession.”

One email written by a senior Facebook official to the Surgeon General stated “I know our teams met today to better understand the scope of what the White House expects from us on misinformation going forward.”

This is just a sample of their evidence they have collected so far.

Now it’s time to end collusion between Big Tech and the Biden administration to censor Americans and prevent them from communicating online.

As AG Schmitt said, “We’re just getting started – stay tuned.”
