The ruling class elites are beginning to panic that their strategy of waging lawfare to defeat Donald Trump is failing.
But that doesn’t mean the establishment is ready to throw in the towel.
And the swamp put together this Hail Mary plan to stop Donald Trump from winning in 2024.
Ruling class elites in both parties are committed to doing everything in their power to stop former President Donald Trump from regaining the White House.
Former Maryland RINO Governor Larry Hogan revealed that eltists’ secretive No Labels group is plotting to deploy a planned $70 million campaign to get a so-called “unity ticket” of one Democrat and one RINO on the ballot in all 50 states to try and help President Joe Biden win.
Hogan told CBS News that the group’s third party bid was likely, but only under certain conditions.
“But they’re only willing to consider this if the nominees are Biden and Trump and 70 percent of Americans do not want those choices,” Hogan stated.
“And if most of the voters don’t want A or B, we have an obligation to give them C, I mean, for the good of the country,” Hogan also told CNN.
In a previous interview on PBS, Hogan explained that Democrats were in a “panic” because polls show Trump tied with Biden despite Democrats bringing multiple criminal indictments against Trump, and that the presence of Green Party candidate Cornel West on the ballot could tip swing states, like Michigan, to Trump.
“But I can tell you that the Democrats are in a full-blown panic because their candidate is in a really weak position. And they have currently got a third-party candidate that’s potentially going to throw the election, and we have got a Green Party candidate that’s pulling about 4 or 5 percent of the vote,” Hogan added.
Hogan also explained that the elites who fund No Labels hate Trump, and are just as committed to defeating him as they’ve ever been to defeating any Democrat.
Hogan added that No Labels would only put a candidate on the ballot if they had the expectation that their ticket would provide a landing spot for Americans frustrated with Biden’s failed leadership who otherwise may reluctantly vote for Trump.
“But No Labels wasn’t created for this purpose,” Hogan claimed. “No Labels has been around for 12 years. And I can tell you that there’s not a single person in the No Labels organization that I know of that is trying to hand the presidency back to Donald Trump. I have been one of the strongest critics in the Republican Party.”
In 2016, Trump won the election largely because he was able to garner the support of more swing voters who disliked both he and Hillary Clinton than his opponent.
These so-called “double haters” swung decisively to Biden in 2020.
But in 2024, Biden has to run on his record of out of control inflation, the wide open southern border, and the threat of nuclear war with Russia or Communist China.
Voters who disapprove of both Joe Biden and Donald Trump may feel the economy was better under the former President and choose him in a rematch.
No Labels wants a ticket on the ballot to prevent that from happening.
