The global censorship regime just suffered a devastating blow that could upend the 2024 election

Democrats’ decision to go all-in on COVID tyranny fully exposed the vast global censorship regime they and their fellow left-wing elites established around the globe.

And despite all the evidence of their efforts to silence anyone who had the audacity to merely question their narratives they’ve merely resorted to denying any of it ever happened.

But now the global censorship regime just suffered a devastating blow that could upend the 2024 election.

Zuckerberg defends his “investment” in 2020 election

In 2020, Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg claimed that he was using his vast wealth and influence to help ensure local election officials had the resources they needed to properly conduct a Presidential election in the midst of a global pandemic.

In the weeks following the election, “Zuckerbucks” became a major point of controversy within American politics.

On December 8, 2020, NPR published an article entitled, “How Private Money from Facebook’s CEO Saved the 2020 Election,” in which the outlet explained how Zuckerburg contributed over $350 million to the Chicago-based Center for Tech and Civic Life.

The supposedly “nonpartisan” donations were said to have gone exclusively to “election infrastructure,” but many conservatives pointed out that the bulk of the focus was on heavily Democrat-controlled districts, leading many to fear that the Facebook and Instagram billionaire was engaging in a far more sinister scheme than he led on.

On August 26, in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, Zuckerberg doubled down on his claim that he simply wanted to “help people vote safely during a global pandemic.”

At the same time, he admitted that he recognizes that many Americans “believe this work benefited one party over the other.”

And now, in a shocking twist, it appears as though he’s trying to make amends.

Facebook “shouldn’t have demoted” the Hunter Biden laptop story

In what CNN called an “election-season gift to Republicans,” Zuckerberg put everything out in the open.

The letter addressed the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell,” and how Facebook and Instagram made the wrong move in helping Democrats censor the story on its platforms in the closing month of the race.

“The FBI warned us about a potential Russian disinformation operation about the Biden family and Burisma in the lead up to the 2020 election,” he recalled.

When the story was finally published by the New York Post, Zuckerberg’s company – like the rest of Big Tech – took swift action to “demote” the report on its platforms to ensure virtually no one saw it.

“We sent the story to fact-checkers for review and temporarily demoted it while waiting for a reply,” he said.

Now, Zuckerberg fully admits that his platform made the wrong move regarding that story.

“It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story,” he wrote.

The CEO said that his platforms have made changes to their policies in order “to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

But the censorship on his platform continued into 2021 and beyond.

“We’re ready to push back if something like this happens again. . .”

At the beginning of the letter, Zuckerberg said that he “appreciate[d]” the Committee’s interest in “content moderation on online platforms.”

The CEO said that he was committed to “promoting speech and helping people connect” then he went on to drop the bomb that could change everything.

Zuckerberg admitted that the Biden-Harris regime “repeatedly pressured” Facebook teams “to censor certain COVID-19 content.”

The platform was not just pressured to take town alternative perspectives on the COVID pandemic, but also “humor and satire.”

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about this,” he said.

Zuckerberg said that they made choices that they “would not make today.”

“I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration. . .and we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again,” he promised.
