“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth” was a central tenet of Nazi propaganda attributed to Joseph Goebbels.
Democrats constantly accuse Donald Trump of all sorts of stuff but without any pushback from the media they hope it becomes the truth in the minds of too many people.
And now social media erupted after this CNN talking head once again allowed Democrats’ Big Lie about Donald Trump to go unchecked.
The Big Charlottesville Lie
In August 2017, there was a rally in Charlottesville, VA to save a statue of Robert E. Lee, and a group called Unite the Right joined in.
Many attended the rally for the sole purpose of opposing woke efforts to tear down historic artifacts and rewrite America’s history – both the good and the bad – but others were there to push a neo-Nazi agenda.
Left-wing counter demonstrators showed up in force, and the event almost became a bloody affair.
In the middle of the chaos, former President Donald Trump was asked by a reporter what he thought about it, and he said some of the leftists and some of the historic preservationists were “good people.”
Democrats’ media allies immediately misquoted him by claiming that he said neo-Nazis were “good people.”
Even left-wing fact checking organizations, like Snopes, have repeatedly admitted that Trump was very clear that he wasn’t referring to neo-Nazis as “good people,” and even totally condemned them.
It is a massive lie that Democrats keep using as the only so-called “proof” that Trump is “racist.”
The reason Democrats can use it is because they know their media allies will never challenge them on it.
CNN Lets Another Democrat Get Away with it
During the Democrat National Convention, CNN talking head Katlin Collins was speaking to Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro.
She asked him if Donald Trump was correct that the reason why he was not chosen to be Democrats’ Vice Presidential nominee is because he’s Jewish and the Party is becoming an anti-Semitic cesspool, and Shapiro went on the attack, claiming that Trump supposedly supported neo-Nazis, making any remark he makes invalid.
Here’s Gov. Josh Shapiro knowingly and intentionally repeating the Charlottesville lie to paint Donald Trump as a “bigot.”@kaitlancollins – who is quick to push back on Republicans – does nothing to correct him.
This is not journalism.

Many conservative commentators immediately attacked CNN for once again allowing Democrats’ Big Lie to be broadcast without holding Democrats to account.
Trump said in the same press conference that “white nationalists and neo-nazis should be condemned totally” – Democrats and their willing allies in the media know this, yet they continue to push the lie hoping it will become the truth.
The Daily Mail quoted Ian Miller: “Another social media referenced Collins’ appearance on liberal comedian Stephen Colbert’s show earlier this week. ‘This is why the entire Colbert audience laughed when he said that CNN is ‘objective.’”
The same article quoted: “Phillip Terzian added: ‘Our journalistic expectations for @kaitlancollins and her employer are inevitably low: It’s cable TV. But for how long will this absolute falsehood be tolerated by people pretending to be journalists?’”
Trump was absolutely clear in his press conference that was transcribed by The Daily Mail: “’I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists. They should be condemned totally. You had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. The press has treated them absolutely unfairly.”
“You had a lot of people in that group that were there to innocently protest and very legally protest,” he added. “Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me.”
But Democrats’ media allies allow any lie that hurts Trump to be continued, and that is why distrust in the media continues to build.
