As leftists have become more radical they have encouraged all kinds of behavior that would have been unthinkable not so long ago.

Woke corporations have merely kowtowed to the left-wing outrage mob out of fear but one Republican has made holding the line against this worrisome trend a matter of policy.

And now Ron DeSantis just made one bold move against a business accused of aiding the corruption of children.

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is now moving to strip a major Miami hotel of its liquor license.

This comes after the hotel hosted a Christmas-themed drag queen show in December with children present despite warnings.

Hyatt Regency Miami rebuffed warnings from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation against hosting a “sexually explicit show with children present.”

According to a statement from Governor Ron DeSantis’ office, “The Department is revoking the venue’s license for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Sexually explicit content is not appropriate to display to children and doing so violates Florida law. Governor DeSantis stands up for the innocence of children in the classroom and throughout Florida.”

According to a complaint filed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, “performers at the event showed their prosthetic breasts and genitals, rubbed their prosthetic female breasts on the faces and mouths of audience members, intentionally exposed their rears, were simulating masturbation and had graphic depictions of childbirth and/or abortion.”

The December event was initially promoted by the hotel with Christmas-themed materials that did not warn of the sexually explicit content, and included the words, “all ages welcome.”

The hotel was warned against having children at the event, but the admission policies still allowed for children to attend, if accompanied by an adult.

“Exposing genitals in a lewd or lascivious manner and simulated sexual activity are inconsistent with the prevailing standards in the adult community as a whole with respect to what is suitable material for children under the age of 16,” the complaint states.

According to Amir Blattner, the Hyatt Regency Miami’s General Manager, the center where the event was held is managed by a third party, and the hotel is now reviewing the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s action.

Promotional materials for the event included in the complaint state that “A Drag Queen Christmas” had been hosted for the past seven years.

The show even went on a national tour, and has been highly controversial.

At an Orlando venue back in December, protesters gathered outside in support and opposition to the event.
