Whether they’re seething over Supreme Court rulings or hearings on government corruption Democrats are fit to be tied.

They believe political power is their birthright and things can get ugly anytime they don’t have complete control.

And now RFK Jr’s testimony on weaponization of government is leading Democrats to fits.

Speaking truth to power

Democrat Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presented his opening statement to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government by setting aside his prepared remarks to directly address some of the terrible accusations leveled against him by his fellow Democrats, and speak to a much larger issue.

Kennedy spoke directly about the First Amendment and Democrat’s efforts to collude with Big Tech to censor any bit of information that is even marginally inconvenient to their narrative.

“When I gave my speech — my announcement speech — in Boston two months ago… I focused on groceries,” Kennedy explained. “I focused on the fact that working class people can no longer afford to live in this country. I talked about inflation — all the issues that deeply concern you, and that you’ve devoted your career to alleviating those issues. Five minutes into my speech, when I was talking about Paul Revere, YouTube deplatformed me. I didn’t talk about vaccines in that speech. I didn’t talk about anything that was a verboten subject. I just was talking about my campaign and things — the conversation that we ought to be having with each other as Americans.”

“After I announced my Presidency, it became more difficult for people to censor me outright,” he added. “So now I’m subject to this new form of censorship, which is called “targeted propaganda,” where people apply pejoratives like ‘anti-vax.’ I’ve never been anti-vaccine. But everybody in this room probably believes that I have been, because that’s the prevailing narrative. Anti-semitism, racism — these are the most appalling, disgusting pejoratives, and they’re applied to me to silence me, because people don’t want me to have that conversation — about the war, about groceries, about inflation, about the war on the middle class in this country — that we need to be having.”

Democrats showcase their real opinion of the First Amendment

As expected, Democrats reacted by immediately attempting to censor him.

In fact, in the ultimate irony, House Democrats voted to censor Kennedy in the middle of a hearing on government censorship.

Every single Democrat on the Committee voted to silence Kennedy for alleged “antisemitism.”

They did this at a hearing in which he was testifying on the federal government’s attempts to censor him, and the optics were terrible.

The truth is that Democrats always have trouble winning any argument or debate on merit, and would much prefer to simply silence any opposing views, giving them a total monopoly on political discourse.

It’s the exact playbook they utilized in 2020, when The New York Post was censored across the internet at the behest of the FBI for reporting about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, even though the bureau knew full well for over a year that the laptop’s contents were real.

Unfortunately for Democrats, though, elections have consequences and they are now the House minority with little power.

Here’s to hoping the 2024 elections bring more freedom to express controversial viewpoints and less power for Democrats’ censorship regime.
