Pope Francis just issued a dire warning that left jaws dropped among the faithful

Things aren’t going well right now at home and abroad.

Inflation has crippled people’s purchasing power and international tensions are on the rise.

And Pope Francis just issued a dire warning that left jaws dropped among the faithful.

At Mass for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which celebrates the 1531 appearance of Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego, the Pope said that the celebration comes “at a difficult time for humanity.”

“It is a bitter time, filled with the rumbling of war, growing injustice, famine, poverty and suffering,” the Pope said, and this “bleak and disconcerting” time bears “omens of even greater destruction and desolation.”

What is causing the bad times?

Of course, many of the problems facing the world today are being amplified by leftist policies that this Pope has championed.

Pope Francis has heavily pushed for aggressive action on so-called “climate change.”

Recently, the Pope urged European youth to curb their consumption of meat to “save the planet.”

“There is an urgent need to reduce the consumption not only of fossil fuels but also of so many superfluous things,” he told a European youth conference. “In certain areas of the world, too, it would be appropriate to consume less meat: this too can help save the environment.”

“Don’t let yourselves be seduced by the sirens that propose a life of luxury reserved for a small slice of the world,” the Pope said. “Instead, have that ‘broad outlook’ that can take in all the rest of humanity, which is much bigger than our little continent.”

Essentially Pope Francis was echoing what the globalists have been saying, “eating meat is for the elite, you common folk should eat bugs.”

Extreme environmentalist policies have done nothing to “save the planet,” and have only put countries that adopt them at a disadvantage.

So called “Green” policies have caused the United States and much of Europe to become dependent on oil from countries like Russia.

This in turn has led to Russia becoming more aggressive.

Now with sanctions imposed on Russian oil, many European countries are faced with severe energy shortages this winter.

The Pope has also noted the rise in Islamic terror attacks in Europe.

Of course, much of that is the result of Europe’s open borders policies that the Pope has pushed for.

If countries can’t even implement the most basic border security to keep out terrorists, you can only expect terrorist attacks will continue to rise.

More of the same will certainly make things worse

The famine, suffering, and war that the Pope discussed are sure to get worse if we keep listening to the Left on “climate change,” borders, and foreign policy.

Unfortunately, the current Pope has done just that.

If we want people to prosper, it’s time to stop listening to leftist radicals, and figures like Pope Francis who echo them.
