Parents are in an uproar after being demonized by this Democrat Congressman

Over the last several years, the Left has launched an ill-advised war against parents.

Democrats loathe the concept of family values, and any concerned parent who questions their woke agenda, particularly when it comes to public school curriculums, is met with the fury of the Left.
But now parents are in an uproar after being demonized by this Democrat Congressman.

Democrats have launched a total war against parents

It should go without saying that parents know what is best for their own children.

But this seemingly common sense statement completely contradicts the entire Left’s agenda.

In recent years and months in particular, Democrats have embarked on an all-out war against parents who are concerned with what their children are being taught in the classroom and elsewhere.

And just recently, a notoriously Democrat Member of Congress just fired another shot in this ill-advised war on parents.

Representative Hank Johnson, who represents Georgia’s 4th District, just infuriated parents when he compared outraged parents speaking their minds at school board meetings to January 6 protesters.

Last Wednesday at a House Judiciary Committee meeting, Rep. Johnson shockingly claimed, “People on the local level at affected school board meetings, they won’t forget the MAGA Republicans descending on their school board meetings after January 6. Like January 6, disrupting meetings.”

He then went on to say “It was a coordinated attack happening across the country Americans won’t forget about it.”

This extreme argument by Johnson represents yet another attack on parents who were outraged by the socialist agenda teachers union bosses attempted to pass on to young students.

Attacking parents is a losing strategy for Democrats

Not only is attacking parents ill-advised, but it is a proven losing strategy for Democrats.

Just take a look at what happened in Virginia last November.

Terry McAuliffe, who was running for his second non-consecutive term as Virginia Governor, had the advantage in almost every way.

He had previously served as Governor, he was running a state that had entirely shifted in Democrats’ favor, and he had very wealthy donors on his side.

But McAuliffe decided to focus his campaign on attacking parental rights in education and even went as far as to say that parents should not have a say in what is taught to their own children.

To add insult to injury, he employed the help of Randi Weingarten, the President of the powerful American Federation of Teachers union.

Weingarten shrieked at parents for months, which helped to mobilize concerned parents across Virginia, giving Republican Glenn Youngkin an unlikely victory.

If Democrats are not careful, then the exact same thing will happen to them again this November, even in places where Democrats hold the advantage.

Attacking parents is not only morally wrong, but it is very stupid.

Parents know what is best for their own children, not union bosses.

Comparing them to completely unrelated protest movements does not achieve anything good.

Moving forward, parents need to keep dialing up grassroots pressure on school boards across the nation, because what Democrats want to teach children is disgusting and horrifying.
