No matter what the government does to stop Donald Trump from making a third bid for the White House, the former President is in the race.
Voters are still waiting to find out if Ron DeSantis will also throw his hat in the ring.
And now one influential Congressman left everyone stunned after he endorsed this Republican for President.
Ron to the rescue?
Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has made huge waves in his short time running the Sunshine State.
He has championed bold family values legislation, waged a “war on woke,” and taken the fight to both the corporate-controlled media and mega corporations – like the Walt Disney Company and BlackRock – that are in bed with the radical Left.
During his tenure as Governor, DeSantis has also turned the once infamous toss-up, battleground state of Florida into one of Republicans’ biggest strongholds.
All of this has led many Republicans to call for the most popular Governor in the nation to enter the Republican Presidential Primary.
In the face of a politically-motivated indictment, polls have indicated that a little more than 40% of Republican voters have rallied around former President Donald Trump’s third White House run, leaving well over half the Party’s voters up for grabs.
But even though the Governor has yet to officially enter the race, some of the most influential Congressmen in America are already choosing sides.
Rep. Thomas Massie endorses DeSantis
The latest to jump on board is one of the most principled Constitutionalists in Washington, D.C. today, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY).
The day after Trump's arraignment, @RepThomasMassie endorses DeSantis. Trump endorsed Massie last year despite spat over Covid funding under Trump.

“America needs a leader who is decisive, respects the Constitution, understands policy, puts family first, and leads by inspiring,” Rep. Massie wrote in a statement. “That’s why I’m endorsing Ron DeSantis for President. During the six years we served together in Congress, I witnessed Ron fight for economic freedom, personal liberty, fiscal responsibility, and constitutionally limited government. In his congressional office and as Governor, Ron has always surrounded himself with capable people who share his principles.”
“Ron knows that putting America first means putting Americans first, not corporations, and he’s never backed down from a fight with the big guys in pharma, agriculture, and tech,” he added. “If we make the right choices, America’s best days are in front of us. Let’s pick a proven energetic leader who can get us there. Let’s choose Ron DeSantis for President.”
Rep. Massie is undoubtedly one of the leaders of the GOP’s more libertarian contingent.
The DeSantis bandwagon continues to grow
Governor DeSantis has actually gained support from tent-pole leaders in the growing big tent that is the Republican Party.
One of the loudest voices in the Freedom Caucus, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TZ), has also already thrown his endorsement behind the Governor.
As has former Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), who through both his words and actions has proven to be one of the most effective leaders in the movement to secure America’s borders.
Other notable endorsements for DeSantis – again, despite the fact that he hasn’t even entered the race yet – include former Virginia Attorney General and Deputy Security of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli, former pro-Trump Great America PAC Chairman Ed Rollins, former Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), the Van Zant brothers of Lynyrd Skynyrd, rapper Azealia Banks, and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, amongst many others.
Tesla and SpaceX founder, Twitter owner, and the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has also said he would support the Florida Governor should he run for President, while the top podcaster in the world, Joe Rogan, has said he believes “DeSantis would work as a good President” considering “what he’s done for Florida has been admirable.”
Peter Thiel, the billionaire who co-founded PayPal with Musk and has emerged as one of the GOP’s top libertarian megadonors in recent elections, also praised Ron DeSantis as probably the best of the governors in terms of offering a real alternative to California.”
