Nancy Pelosi is known for odd and awkward moments in public.
But this one may take the cake.
And now Nancy Pelosi is begging Democrats to do one strange thing that will leave you scratching your head.
Democrats are in a desperate mood.
Polls show former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are in a dead heat in the 2024 Presidential race despite Democrat prosecutors bringing four criminal indictments against the former President.
The polls show Trump can win because of Biden’s decision to own the phrase “Bidenomics,” and all the economic pain and misery that it entails.
To that end, Democrats tried to reverse the narrative by holding a celebration to honor the one year anniversary of the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act.”
Democrats no longer even pretend this boondoggle was about lowering inflation, as prices are still increasing year-over-year.
Instead, they now admit the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” was a scheme to impose the environmental extremist Green New Deal on the United States of America.
At the White House event, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed there was “no more urgent task than saving our planet,” and that fighting climate change was a “health issue,” an “economic issue,” as well as a “moral issue.”
“It’s a moral issue if you believe as I do that this planet is God’s creation,” Pelosi claimed. “We have a moral responsibility to be good stewards of it. But even if you don’t, we can all agree we have a moral obligation to ensure strong, healthy, resilient communities for future generations.”
The crowd sat in silence while Pelosi awkwardly paused before begging the crowd to clap.
“I think that’s an applause line,” Pelosi stated.

The death knell for Jeb Bush’s 2016 Presidential campaign came during an event in New Hampshire when he begged the crowd to “please clap.”
Since then, a politician needing to prompt a crowd to applaud is immediately turned into an internet meme symbolizing being a loser.
The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” was the crown jewel of President Biden’s first term.
It included tens of billions of dollars to hire over 80,000 new IRS agents, and hundreds of billions of dollars for socialist Green New Deal schemes.
But the bill did not address inflation – not even a little bit.
And because prices are still going up, Joe Biden’s poll numbers remain stuck in the toilet and Democrats are worried he could lose his re-election bid.
