Polling shows at least 60% of Americans believe Joe Biden has been a failure as President of the United States.
Even by his own admission, the Biden administration has failed to accomplish his primary policy priorities.
But a new report shows the President misled the American public about where their money would go in his signature “achievement in office.”
Joe Biden and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Presidency
President Joe Biden has been in the Oval Office for more than a year and a half.
However, thanks largely to the only two centrist Democrats Left in the U.S. Senate – Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona – Biden hasn’t been able to get his core legislative agenda passed.
Last year, in an effort to sway Senator Manchin away from voting for Biden’s so-called, “Build Back Better,” goodie bag of woke giveaways – Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell decided not to stage a serious fight against the Democrat’s $1.9 Trillion COVID relief stimulus package.
During the debate over the bill, Americans were told the funds would go to aid struggling businesses and workers impacted by government enforced restrictions during the pandemic.
The real “Big Lie”
However, a new report shows the Biden administration is spending the majority of those tax dollars on social justice causes – and not COVID relief.
According to The Wall Street Journal only $825 Billion would be going towards direct COVID-19 relief, the other $1+ Trillion was allocated to “expansions of progressive programs, pork, and unrelated policy changes.”
Fox News has followed up on The Wall Street Journal estimate after a year of the funding being dispensed.
What does any of this have to do with COVID?
According to the Fox News report, $15 Million from the COVID relief package is supporting libraries and museums in launching “anti-racist” education and “social activism” programs for children.
Surely, that will help flatten the curve.
One of the programs funded by that $15 Million in COVID stimulus went to the Rochester Museum and Science Center in New York.
They used $49,632 to send third graders on a field trip to see the “Take It Down!” exhibit.
The exhibit “tells the story of a community led effort to remove racist artwork from a historic carousel, as a tool for anti-racism education.”
Small business owners must be so grateful for that assistance.
Another $43,400 went to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts for training guides to “incorporate greater cultural fluency and responsiveness into their tours using an anti-racist lens.”
The art institute is also using that COVID money to introduce new topics like “social-emotional learning, identity, empathy, and social activism,” to students.
Workers laid off due to government sanctioned pandemic restrictions can rest easy knowing that.
Meanwhile, the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts got $50,000 to offer “equity, diversity, and inclusion-focused STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs for pre-K through 12th-grade students.”
Hospital administrators must be so relieved.
The list goes on.
The Studio Museum in Harlem received another $50,000 to build a 9-foot bronze statue symbolizing “Black masculinity, stereotypes and shared diasporic experiences.”
Workers who had their hours or pay cut due to the shutdown economy can rest easy now.
It keeps going.
The Anchorage Museum was on the receiving end of $50,000 to hire a DEI coordinator to “collaborate with communities of color and LGBT communities.”
They also were able to bring on a curator to “work with communities on climate justice”
That’ll make up for all the companies that shutdown, never to reopen because people weren’t allowed to patronize the businesses.
And $33,000 went to Northwest Mississippi Community College to create a “safe space” for students dealing with “pandemic related stress and racial injustice.”
Of course, none of that $15-Million has a thing to do with COVID relief.
$15-Million in reimbursements for hand sanitizer and mandatory masks would have been more helpful.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what the Democrats are doing with the trillion dollars of stimulus money to spend as they please.
