Woke up at 1am to knocking on her door and flashing lights
Marjorie Taylor Greene is reporting that she has been swatted multiple times this week.
If you’re not familiar with the term, swatting is when someone calls into local law enforcement to report a situation that would warrant a SWAT team.
In her case, the caller reported that there was a shooting in Greene’s home and a woman had killed her husband.
Other callers informed the police that there were children in the home, and they were in danger.
In a viral video on Twitter, she described the first harrowing situation, “I was sound asleep…never expected anyone to be coming to my house at that time of the morning. I heard some knocks on the door, heard my doorbell, saw some lights outside, heard people outside my window . . . normally I answer the door with my gun . . . for some reason I had this weird gut instinct to not take my gun with me to my front door . . .”
It was a good thing that Greene left her gun behind this time.
It may have gotten her killed.
The culture war is getting hotter every day
Greene indicates that this harassment is in response to her bill, Protect Children’s Innocence Act, HR8731.
She shared details from 911 on Twitter, “911 received a call from the suspect, claiming responsibility for the incident and explaining his/her motives,” and “they explained they were upset about Ms. Greene’s stance on ‘trans-gender youth’s rights,’ and stated they were trying to ‘swat’ her.”
So, two attacks that have put her safety at risk.
Both right after proposing a bill to criminalize people who perform “gender affirming” procedures on children.
That’s all the confirmation Greene needs to understand what is happening here.
She’s being attacked in order to intimidate her and stop her from pushing this bill forward.
One might call this an act of terrorism.
She stands strong against those who want to see her fall
Marjorie Taylor Greene has long been the ire of the corporate media.
Now she’s certain they are fueling the fire leading to these attacks.
She is regularly accused of waging a war on “trans kids.”
She went on Steve Bannon’s War Room and said, “They’re trying to get me killed. Those media companies, they’re responsible for trying to get me killed by those horrific headlines.”
Greene is defiant stating, “If this is the war the left wants, this is the war the left will get. I will never stop protecting children and defending their innocence. We have to immediately pass H.R. 8731, the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, to end the mutilation of kids.”
She also expresses gratitude for her local law enforcement, “I want to give massive credit and shout out to the Rome Police here. They are not stupid . . . they are on to what is happening.”
