Marjorie Taylor Greene and Marcus Flowers just had a fiery debate in northwest Georgia.
They sparred over a variety of issues including local infrastructure, DACA, and January 6.
But Marjorie Taylor Greene dropped the hammer on her opponent with these allegations he didn’t bother denying.
Flowers accuses Greene of being involved on January 6 despite her being in the Capitol
Marjorie Taylor Greene is feeling pretty good following a debate with her opponent Marcus Flowers.
Questions were delivered by local news representatives, Josh Roe and John Druckenmiller.
Druckenmiller got the first question and asked Flowers, “Nearly 20 Republicans and 20 Democrats have run against Ms. Greene in the last two elections . . . each one has had a strategy that has been ‘I am not MTG.’ In your race . . . 37 emails have come to our email . . . from your account that say the same thing, ‘I am not MTG.’ What is your platform?”
Flowers responded, “First and foremost, I am running as Marcus Flowers, not not Marjorie Taylor Greene. I got into this campaign because of the events of January 6 and Congresswoman Greene’s participation in that . . . this is about our democracy and not running as MTG has never been my platform.”
Greene didn’t take the accusation lightly, “You cannot accuse me of insurrection. I was a victim of the January 6 riot just as much as any other member of Congress. That was the third day I had on the job. I had nothing to do with what happened there that day. I will not have you accuse me of that. That is wrong of you to do, you’re lying about me, and you will not defame my character in that manner.”
Greene promises to represent citizens of America before DACA recipients
Then Josh Roe laid out claims Georgia relies solely on DACA recipients for labor and asked, “What actually happens if DACA goes away and what is your plan?”
Greene replied, “First and foremost, I swore an oath to the constitution, and I represent the citizens of the United States of America and not DACA recipients. I also represent our district that believes in strong borders. We’ve had over five million people illegally invade the United States of America since Joe Biden became President.”
Roe went on to explain how Greene garnered more votes than all other primary candidates combined.
Then asked Flowers how he plans to defeat Greene.
Flowers claimed that “Republicans come up to [him] every day with tears in their eyes saying, ‘please get rid of Marjorie Taylor Greene.’”
Greene responded that Flowers was simply out of touch with the blood red district.
She explained he was pretending to run for Congress to make money and he is just sending, “emails all over the country to raise money for himself and he pays himself out of his campaign with your donation dollars.”
That’s when Greene dropped the hammer on Flowers.
Greene asks Flowers how he can be a father and represent “the party of child abuse”
“Marcus, you’re a father and a representative of the Democrat Party . . . the party of child abuse . . . the party that represents grooming children and sexualizing them in schools . . .”
She hammered him for supporting “genital mutilation of kids.”
Then she went on to ask Flowers, “How do you stand there and represent the Democrat Party as a father,” and she asked if he believes “in genital mutilation of children . . . and the puberty blockers that have severe health consequences?”
Flowers didn’t even attempt to deny that he supports these life-altering procedures on kids.
In fact, he did the opposite, declaring that he will “stand up” for “children in the LGBTQ+ community.”
Enough said.
