Liz Cheney was just handed one set of surprising numbers that could change her mind about running for President in 2024

Trump-endorsed attorney Harriet Hageman crushed Liz Cheney by 37 points last week in the Wyoming Republican Primary.

But Cheney said her mission to stop Donald Trump from winning the Presidency would not end with her defeat.

And now Liz Cheney was just handed one set of surprising numbers that could change her mind about running for President in 2024.

Liz Cheney declares war on Donald Trump

Wyoming Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney caught a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome over the events at the Capitol on January 6.

Not only did Cheney vote to impeach Donald Trump, but Nancy Pelosi also picked her to serve as Vice Chair of the January 6 witch hunt committee.

Over the past several months, Liz Cheney spent all of her time attacking and smearing Donald Trump instead of fighting Joe Biden’s socialist agenda.

Donald Trump vowed to defeat Liz Cheney in the 2022 Primary, throwing his full support behind attorney Harriet Hageman.

And Wyoming Republicans delivered on Trump’s promise by handing Liz Cheney a crushing defeat in the Primary election.

But Liz Cheney’s war against Donald Trump did not end with her defeat on Tuesday.

Will Liz Cheney run for President?

During her concession speech, Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln, noting that he also lost Congressional races before going on to become President of the United States.

And the following morning, during an interview with NBC’s Today Show, Liz Cheney revealed she was considering running for President against Donald Trump in 2024.

“I believe that Donald Trump continues to pose a very grave threat and risk to our republic,” Cheney told host Savannah Guthrie. “And I think that defeating him is going to require a broad and united front of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, and that’s what I intend to be a part of.”

After Guthrie pressed her on if she was running for President, Cheney responded that “I will be doing whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office.”

“But it is something that I am thinking about, and I’ll make a decision in the coming months,” Cheney concluded.

Bad news for Cheney

On Tuesday, Yahoo News/YouGov released a startling new poll that could be the final nail in the coffin for Liz Cheney’s Presidential ambitions.

According to the new poll, Cheney running as an Independent Presidential candidate would only siphon away support from Joe Biden.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Biden, the poll shows Biden defeating Trump by 42 to 39 with 20 percent undecided.

However, if Cheney is included as an Independent candidate, the same poll shows Trump easily defeating Biden by 8 points, with 23 percent undecided.

Of course, Liz Cheney is a member of the Republican Party even though she acts like a Democrat.

But Liz Cheney has no chance of ever winning the Republican Presidential Primary.

Even RINO and fellow Never-Trumper Mitt Romney admitted this fact during a recent interview.

That means Liz Cheney’s only option would be running as an Independent.

But Liz Cheney declared her only goal was to keep Trump out of the White House.

If she’s honest, then the results of this new poll should pour cold water on her plans to run for President, at least as an Independent candidate.

But Liz Cheney is infected with a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that impacts her political decisions.
