President Joe Biden has been following around Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy like a puppy looking for approval from his master – except this puppy is giving his master $110 billion.
Not to be outdone, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina is waving the Ukrainian flag.
And Lindsey Graham just confessed his love for Zelenskyy with this one sentence.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Capital last week – where the White House rolled out the red carpet for him ahead of his meeting with the President Joe Biden.
The President of Ukraine was given the incredibly rare and special opportunity to address a joint session of Congress – and used his time to attempt to sway their votes on sending even more money to Ukraine for an unwinnable war.
Meanwhile, the 46th President of the United States wants Americans to sacrifice and agree to continue paying more for food and fuel, so he can prolong a war Ukraine can’t possibly win.
In the meantime, more innocent Ukrainians die.
But that’s not stopping President Biden from continuing to prolong the inevitable by supporting Ukraine and costing thousands of innocent lives – not to mention tens of billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars – to prolong the inevitable.
Just before Christmas, Congress passed an astronomical $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.
Part of the mega-spending bill is $45 billion in more military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
That brings America’s investment in the eastern European conflict to more than $110 billion.
18 so-called “Republican” Senators joined with every member of the Senate Democrat caucus in voting in favor of Biden’s bloated bill.
Included in that group of RINOs – Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
Graham has a long history of supporting warhawk efforts, dating back to his tight ties with former Presidential nominee John McCain.
And now, Graham is echoing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s sentiments that supporting Ukraine is supposedly, “Republicans’ number one priority.”
In fact, Graham is taking it even further than McConnell.
The Palmetto State RINO says the U.S. needs to be “all-in” protecting Ukraine from Russia.
On Fox News Channel’s America Reports, host Sandra Smith asked Graham, “To what extent do you believe this country should continue to aid Ukraine in this fight?”
“Completely all in, without equivocation,” Sen. Graham said. “If Putin dismembers Ukraine, he will not stop. China’s more likely to go into Taiwan. The world will unravel. And no domestic problem gets better here at home allowing Putin to destroy Ukraine, quite the opposite. If you can stop Putin in Ukraine, China will probably rethink invading Taiwan, and the world will be a better place. Nobody’s dying over here, no American soldiers. We’re spending money, but it’s being spent on a good cause, the cause of freedom. So, I’m all in, whatever they need, as long as they need it.”
Graham says the money is being “well spent,” however, Americans actually have no idea how the money tens of billions of dollars from U.S. taxpayers is being spent by Ukrainian officials.
That’s why GOP Congresswomen Lauren Boebert of Colorado and Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia are calling for a full audit of U.S. military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Sen. Graham wants no limits on American aid to Zelenskyy.
Long-range ATACMS artillery missiles, Gray Eagle drones, Reaper drones, whatever they need.
“I would give him the ability to dislodge Russians from his country,” Graham said.
Does that include American boots on the ground in Ukraine?
Graham has yet to say.
