LeBron James is sputtering for answers after a humiliating report threatened to expose his most famous philanthropic venture as a fraud

The last thing most Americans want is to have a woke extremist agenda forced down their throats especially while they’re watching sports.

But athletes are more determined than ever to espouse their political views especially if said views coincide with woke extremism.

And LeBron James is sputtering for answers after a humiliating report threatened to expose his most famous philanthropic venture as a fraud.

LeBron’s ultimate hypocrisy

There are few sports as quintessentially American as the sport of basketball.

And when it comes to the greatest basketball players of all-time, no matter what you may think about him off the court, there’s no denying that LeBron James belongs in the conversation.

After all, despite the insane evolution human athleticism has undergone over the past century, the 6’9, 260-pound James remains one of the most freakish athletes in history, and has won 4 NBA finals, is a 4-time NBA Finals MVP, 4-time NBA MVP, 5-time all-defensive first team selection, 13-time First Team All-NBA selection, and a 19-time all-star.

There’s also the fact that last season, he became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record many once believed was unbreakable in the modern NBA.

When it comes to politics – and pretty much everything off the court – however, James is one of the most polarizing figures in popular culture given his allegiance to woke extremism.

Regardless, James has long put himself forward as the ultimate philanthropist, using his charity efforts to silence his critics.

With this in mind, James established the “I Promise School” in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, in 2018, for the stated purpose of helping underprivileged students receive a quality education.

But five years after the school opened its doors, it appears as if the “I Promise School” is failing to live up to expectations – and even that description of the school’s current state is very generous.

That is because this year’s eighth-grade class at James’ school failed to produce a single passing score on the state’s math test.

Apparently, the group of students in the schools’ eight-class also haven’t produced a passing math test in years – which should draw plenty of questions as to how they continued to advance to the next grade, if that’s the case.

In response to this jaw-dropping news, Akron School Board President Derrick Hall spoke to the media and expressed that he is “disappointed” the school has spent the amount of money that it has without seeing any results.

“For me as a board member, I just think about all the resources that we’re providing,” Hall said. “And I just, I’m just disappointed that I don’t think, it doesn’t appear like we’re seeing the kind of change that we would expect to see.”

The children at LeBron James’ school deserve better

The news of these abhorrent test scores has reached media outlets across the world, and many are wondering what James will do next to address these serious concerns.

On Monday, the LeBron James Family Foundation released a statement saying, “When we started this work to wraparound students through education, we entered this partnership with Akron Public School for the long haul.”

“Because this work requires a long-term commitment, hard work, and a lot of love and care,” the statement added. “And that’s what we bring each and every day because the I Promise School is more than a school. We’re here for the ups and downs, and will continue to wraparound our students and their entire families so they can be successful in school and in life, no matter the challenges and obstacles that come their way.”

LeBron James is often the first to chime in on any given political debate, however, when it comes to his own failing schools, he is very slow to take any responsibility.
