Atlantic writer Franklin Foer’s new book, The Last Politician, is an inside look at the first two years of Joe Biden’s Presidency.
The book contains a shocking story that raises serious questions about the President’s mental decline.
“Rather than owning his failure, he fumed to his friends about how he was treated like a toddler,” Foer writes in the book. “Was John Kennedy ever babied like that?”
The book claims that Biden was furious at his aides for constantly having to clean up his mess each and every time he sticks his foot in his mouth – so basically, every day.
President Biden called for regime change in Russia shortly after the war in Ukraine broke out, forcing the White House to walk back his comments and prompting his outburst, according to the book.
Despite the fact that the Biden White House reportedly granted Foer “exclusive access,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was left steaming after she was asked about the book’s claims during a recent press briefing.
“President Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history,” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy told Jean-Pierre. “Why does White House staff treat him like a baby?”
“No one treats the President of the United States, the Commander-in-Chief, like a baby,” an exasperated Jean-Pierre ranted in reply. “That’s a ridiculous claim.”
Doocy pointed to the book, specifically the passage that explicitly states that Biden was angry that he’s treated like a toddler by White House staff.
“I’ll say this, there’s always going to be a range of books that are about every administration… that is going to have a variety of claims,” Jean-Pierre said. “We’re not going to litigate those here.”
She laughably claimed that the passage was actually about “the value of [Biden’s] experience and wisdom resulted in rallying the free world against authoritarianism.”
Sensing an opportunity, Doocy continued to press the befuddled Press Secretary about Biden’s age.
He pointed to a recent poll from The Wall Street Journal that indicated two-thirds of Democrats now believe Biden is too old to run for re-election.
“Look, here’s what I know,” Jean-Pierre responded. “Here’s what I can speak to. I can speak to that — a President who has wisdom. I can speak to a President who has experience. I can speak to a President who has done historic — has taken historic action and has delivered historic pieces of legislation. And that’s important.”
Franklin Foer’s book tried to give a sympathetic picture of the multitude of failures during the first two years of Biden’s Presidency.
The Atlantic writer has always been a reliably left-wing, Biden-friendly “journalist,” so his claims can’t be dismissed as a hit piece.
The Last Politician is another disturbing piece of evidence that Joe Biden is in severe mental decline.
