Americans have spent the past two years scoffing at how little Biden Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg works.
That is until they met John Fetterman.
And now John Fetterman’s cringeworthy return to the Senate will leave you shaking your head in disbelief.
Elections have consequences
During the 2022 Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race, then-Lt. Gov John Fetterman suffered a near-fatal stroke just days before winning the Democrat Primary.
The stroke left the left-wing radical unable to speak coherent sentences or understand words that are spoken to him without the aid of a computer software program that captions conversations for him to read.
In fact, the consequences of the serious stroke were on full display throughout his countless public campaign appearances, many television interviews, and one of the worst debate performances in modern political history – Rick Perry, you’re now officially off the hook.
Fetterman’s medical condition was a big issue in his General Election campaign against Republican nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz.
However, despite his obvious cognitive impairment, Pennsylvania voters decided to send Fetterman to the Senate with a 4.5-point victory.
But it didn’t take long for the GOP’s warnings about Fetterman’s unfitness for the job to prove true.
In early February, the newly-elected Senator was attending a Democrat retreat when he became lightheaded and was rushed to a hospital where he remained for about a week.
And rather soon after he was released, Senator Fetterman was back in the hospital, this time checking himself in for depression.
The Pennsylvania Senator stayed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for five weeks, and has been recovering from home for a couple more.
In his first four months in Congress, Fetterman has only actually shown up for work for a total of about three weeks.
Welcome back, Fetterman
But Democrats rolled out the red carpet for Senator Fetterman to finally return earlier this week.
In what really should be considered a cruel joke, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made a man, who can’t form or comprehend coherent sentences, chair a Congressional subcommittee.
Despite needing advanced technology to communicate with other humans, Fetterman has been given the responsibility of chairing the Senate Subcommittee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, which may suggest something about what Democrats think of farmers and lumberjacks.

And unfortunately for Fetterman, cameras were on-hand to capture the hard-to-watch performance.
As you can watch in the above video, Fetterman stutters and stammers his way through a pre-written speech, and very likely heavily prepped ahead of time.

Things didn’t get any better for Fetterman when it came time to question his first witnesses.
Even the Leftists at The Washington Post had to concede their supposed “champion of differently-abled rights” had a tough day, though they put it as kindly as possible.
“His voice stumbled at times while reading from prepared notes,” The Post reported.
And then, something was caught on-camera after the hearing that wasn’t supposed to be.
As Senator Fetterman is mingling, his aides have to hold up an iPad so an app can transcribe the conversation he’s having so he can understand what’s being said to him.

C-SPAN very quickly cut away from the scene.
Any honest observer has to ask whether John Fetterman and Democrats can keep this up for six years.
