Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to beg Members of Congress for billions of Americans’ tax dollars.
Most Americans are fed up with funding Biden’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
And Joe Biden’s Secretary of State just made one promise to Ukraine that could lead to nuclear war with Russia.
American taxpayers have already forked over more than $100 billion to Ukraine since Russian President Vladimir Putin first invaded the country.
Before the last Congress ended, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) teamed up with Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to ram a $1.7 trillion spending bill into law that included another $45 billion for President Joe Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine.
Even though the American people have already sent more than $100 billion to Ukraine, there is no record of where the money goes and how the weapons are used.
Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC) recently sent a letter to the Biden regime demanding a “full crosscutting report” of all the “U.S. government-wide expenditures for Ukraine and countries impacted by the situation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022.”
But instead of ensuring the funds aren’t being squandered by corrupt politicians in Ukraine, Biden Secretary of State Anthony Blinken just made a jaw-dropping promise to President Zelensky.
“The United States is announcing a significant new security assistance package to help Ukraine continue to defend itself against Russia’s brutal war,” a State Department press release read.
“Pursuant to a delegation of authority from the President, I am authorizing our 30th drawdown of U.S. arms and equipment for Ukraine since August 2021,” the release continued, adding that “this assistance package will provide Ukraine with hundreds of additional armored vehicles, including Stryker armored personnel carriers, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, and High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled vehicles.”
The United States is also sending “additional air defense support for Ukraine, including more Avenger air defense systems, and surface to air missiles, as well as additional munitions for NASAMS that the United States has previously provided along with night vision devices, small arms ammunition, and other items to support Ukraine as it bravely defends its people, its sovereignty, and its territorial integrity.”
Overall, the package totals an additional $2.5 billion of taxpayer money that Biden’s Secretary of State is now unilaterally sending to Ukraine.
But the press release also made clear that the United States will continue offering Ukraine a blank check of Americans’ tax dollars “for as long as it takes.”
“Russia alone could end this war today,” the release claimed. “Until it does so, we will stand United with Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
America is facing a crisis on multiple fronts.
Millions of illegal aliens are invading the country thanks to President Biden’s open borders agenda.
Crime is skyrocketing in Democrat-controlled cities, the economy is on the brink of collapse, and inflation continues to be skyhigh.
And Biden Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen just announced that the country is on the verge of hitting its $31.4 trillion debt ceiling.
There is no compelling American interest in the outcome of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
But instead of trying to solve America’s problems, Joe Biden and his regime are spending billions of dollars and carelessly flirting with nuclear war with Russia in order to blindly support Ukraine.
