Joe Biden thinks Ilhan Omar should keep her House committee seat for this crazy reason

The Biden administration has spiraled down into an incoherent mess, unable to articulate sound reasoning for their policies, and often stooping to lying.

Their congressional allies delve into kook territory, but that doesn’t stop the Biden regime from continuing their support of even the most horrific Democrat elected officials.

Now Joe Biden thinks Ilhan Omar should keep her House committee seat for this crazy reason.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced he was kicking Congressmen Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) off the House Intelligence Committee for reasons of national security.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN), notorious for her antisemitic rhetoric, and hatred of the United States, got similar treatment, as McCarthy pulled her from the Africa subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

“It’s all about the Benjamins, baby”

McCarthy has said he is removing Omar from the position because she has upset many of her colleagues, and many of America’s allies with controversial anti-Israel, anti-Jewish statements.

She even once said, “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby” to explain why McCarthy criticized her for opposing Israel and the Jewish people.

She also sparked backlash for a remark comparing the U.S. and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban.

McCarthy’s move didn’t sit well with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who said, “Representative Schiff, Representative Swalwell, and also Representative Omar, are [sic] expertise and bring a lot to the table when it comes to foreign policy and national security. Those congressional members bring a lot of expertise to that [sic] committee.”

What exactly Omar’s expertise on foreign policy is wasn’t made clear, but with the Biden regime, answers to such questions never are.

Of course, the race card

Omar is now accusing House Speaker Kevin McCarthy of being “racist” and “xenophobic” for removing her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

She wrote, “As the only African born, not being on the Africa subcommittee is not just an elimination of a unique voice but an elimination of all the voices that have never been heard on a committee on the continent. It’s racist, xenophobic and discriminatory.”

Ahh the race card, the first card played by any Democrat in trouble.

On an MSNBC appearance on Sunday, Omar kept at it, saying, “I think it would be hypocritic [sic] for him to remove, you know, the first African born on subcommittee on Africa on the Foreign Affairs Committee, where I’ve had the opportunity to not only represent my constituents but the voice of so many people who have never had a voice on the Foreign Affairs Committee.”

Nancy Mace and Ilhan Omar, strange bedfellows

Removing the trio from their committees would have been an unprecedented move, if Democrats hadn’t already done the same to Republicans during the last Congress for the flimsiest of reasons.

At the time, many on the right said that the Democrats were going to hate to have to live by their new rules.

Omar has a history of hateful rhetoric against Israel and that alone, by virtue of the Democrats’ rules is all the justification McCarthy needs to figuratively tell her, as well as her Democrat and media allies to choke.

Unfortunately Omar has picked up a couple of RINO allies, most notably embattled South Carolina Congresswoman and RINO spokeswoman Nancy Mace.

While its not surprising for Mace to make such idiotic moves, it gives Omar and the violent radical left some of the cover they need.
