Joe Biden has been inconsistent with his claims and messaging throughout his entire Presidency.
Such lack of clear communication has caused many to doubt his ability to serve as President and question the legitimacy of his talking points.
But Joe Biden said five words about his son’s criminal indictment that even Democrats admit were completely delusional.
The walls are closing in on the Biden family
From the moment Republicans took over control of the House, the Oversight and Judiciary Committees have been hot on Biden’s trail.
Months of diligent investigation have uncovered a treasure trove of damning evidence against the entire Biden family, indicating they played direct roles in selling influence to the White House while Joe Biden served as Vice President under former President Barack Obama.
Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, in particular has come under fire for his alleged role in these schemes, as well as his dubious past.
Not only does Hunter face pressure for his alleged direct role in these pay-for-play schemes, but he is also facing federal indictments for gun charges, in relation to his previous drug use, among a laundry list of other embarrassing and appalling crimes.
Nonetheless, President Biden has refused to take even an ounce of accountability for these alleged crimes and has even gone as far as to negate the claims against his son.
On MSNBC’s The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, the host asked Biden about the investigations his son faces.
“Sir, there is something personal that’s affecting you,” Ruhle said to Biden. “Your son — while there [are] no ties to you — [he] could be charged by your Department of Justice. How will that impact your presidency?”
“First of all, my son’s done nothing wrong,” Biden claimed. “I trust him. I have faith in him. And it impacts my Presidency by making me feel proud of him.”
However, the charges Special Counsel David Weiss has pressed against Hunter say otherwise.
Last Thursday alone, Hunter was charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer.
If found guilty of these crimes, Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison for his crimes.
Biden’s Achilles heel in 2024
Like many career politicians in Washington, D.C., President Biden is in campaign mode, despite the 2024 elections being well over a year away.
These damaging legal woes involving his son have the potential to derail his campaign, turning off many of the independent voters who carried him in 2020.
And to make matters even worse for Joe Biden, these federal indictments are just the tip of the iceberg of the Biden family’s legal woes.
