Joe Biden laughed gleefully when he found out Fox News canceled Tucker Carlson

The big news that Fox had let Tucker Carlson go was met with almost universal shock.

While conservatives began canceling their subscriptions to Fox, Democrats and the radical Left were thrilled.

And Joe Biden laughed gleefully when he found out Fox News cancelled Tucker Carlson.

The “Monday Massacre”

Many are calling the events that transpired on Monday, leading to both Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon being fired by Fox News and CNN respectively, the “Monday Massacre.”

Interestingly enough, it was also the same day Susan Rice announced her departure from the Biden regime.

But for almost the entire American media, the big news was Carlson’s departure.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” Fox said in a statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

While the announcement made it appear as though there had been a mutual parting of ways, those close to the situation indicated that nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact, in what would turn out to be Carlson’s last show on Fox News, the wildly popular host ended by saying, “I’ll be back on Monday night.”

Spoiler alert – he was not back on Monday night, or even Tuesday or Wednesday for that matter.

Carlson is not alone

According to Fox News, “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st,” and the network will air a new “interim show,” Fox News Tonight, in its time slot for the foreseeable future while being “helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

The breaking news came just days after the – possibly former – most-watched network in cable news announced it was parting ways with fellow conservative host Dan Bongino.

Bongino, who hosted Unfiltered with Dan Bongino on Saturday nights, and Canceled in the USA on the Fox Nation streaming platform, departed the outlet after Fox News did not extend his contract.

The former Secret Service agent reported on his podcast that the decision was “tough,” but “we couldn’t come to terms on an extension.”

“It’s a sad day,” Bongino added. “The most important events in my life I learned about on Fox News.”

The canceling of both Tucker Carlson and Dan Bongino had many conservatives vowing to never watch the once popular network again.

And if the initial cancellations of the network’s streaming subscriptions were any indication, Fox News could be in for a long tough road ahead.

In less than 24 hours after Fox News announced the firing of Tucker Carlson, the news network lost more than $800 million in market capitalization as Fox Corporation’s stock price plummeted by more than 5%.

It simply makes no sense

Most who heard the news were simply bewildered.

Why would Fox News, the most popular news network in the nation, fire the most popular primetime host in cable news?

The theories were as varied as the truth on CNN.

Some believed it was due to Carlson’s refusal to back down on the election integrity issue.

Others believe it was his recent speech blasting the big evangelical movement known as “Big Eva.”

But at the end of the day, it was likely simply a matter of Lachlan Murdoch, the son of Fox founder Ruper Murdoch, who has taken over the family business in recent years, hating the fact that his company’s news network is attacked as “right-wing,” and wanting to appease his left-wing friends in New York’s Upper East Side.

Regardless of the reasons, Fox News is certainly going to suffer mightily from the loss of Carlson.

As for Carlson himself, rumor has it he will be back in one form or another very soon – possibly even with his own show.

Or maybe he has even more grandiose ambitions in mind.
