Government spending under Joe Biden has expanded faster than any other point in American history.
He’s making hard-working Americans pay for the socialist agenda he’s pushing, and he’s proven he doesn’t care who it hurts.
Now Biden has been caught repeating a lie about government finances and making ridiculous claims about the GOP.
Biden brags about government finances at MLK Jr. event
Joe Biden spoke at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network on Martin Luther King Jr Day, and as has been expected anytime he speaks, Biden went way off script.
The President took the opportunity to attack his Republican rivals and make false statements about the federal government’s financial position.
He found himself addressing the proposal by the GOP to eliminate the federal Income tax and add a federal consumption tax in its place.
Biden started by whispering an old lie that he had “reduced the deficit by $350 billion [his] first year.”
That claim was previously fact-checked and given “Three Pinocchios” by the left-wing The Washington Post back in September of 2022.
The usually reliable mouthpiece for the Democrats ultimately called the government assessment of the deficit a “shell game” and graded it as untrue.
Then Biden went on to make an even larger claim that “the federal deficit is down $1-trillion plus” in 2023 adding “hear me, that’s a fact.”
Of course, to no one’s surprise, this statement was quickly proven false as well.
Republicans are “fiscally demented”
Biden then moved on to attack Republicans directly, “these guys, they’re fiscally demented, I think they don’t quite get it.”
Biden is really trying to stop the American public from giving any support to the House proposal because he knows if the GOP lawmakers have their way, it could mean an end to the IRS.
The fact is that Biden is the one that is “fiscally demented.”
The White House Twitter account posted a message talking about his economic plan producing for the American people.
“The cost of everyday goods is falling,” they said the day before Biden called the GOP wrongheaded.
Under President Biden’s economic plan, the cost of everyday goods is falling.
Meanwhile, House Republicans are preparing to vote on a bill that would raise taxes on the middle-class by taxing thousands of everyday items, from groceries to gas to clothing.

In the same tweet they highlighted the plan to tax “thousands of everyday items, from groceries to gas to clothing,” conveniently leaving out the part of the bill that eliminates the income tax.
Republicans took their turns responding to Biden’s comments.
Freshman Republican Senator from Alabama, Katie Britt, condemned Biden stating his “reckless tax-and-spend policies have fueled generationally high inflation and crushed Americans who are simply trying to make ends meet.”
Blackburn warns Democrats will add $4.8 trillion to deficit spending
Marsha Blackburn put a number on the inflation in a Fox News interview.
She explained that we are often just looking at year-over-year inflation, but prices since Biden took office have gone up nearly 14 percent.
She said that “despite what the President claims, the Democrats’ reckless spending will add $4.8 trillion in new deficit spending over the next 10 years.”
This will have untold consequences on future generations.
Responding directly to Biden, Blackburn said “if wanting a balanced budget is ‘fiscally demented,’ then I’m not sure what you would call the economic devastation under President Biden’s leadership.”
It’s hard to come up with a description of what Biden is doing.
The only thing that makes sense is that they want to create an unsurmountable debt, ultimately default on all payments, and send the nation into even further chaos.
That is in fact the socialist gameplan.
