Biden seeks to “maximize” relationship with the WHO
President Joe Biden is preparing to make a move that would leave American citizens at the whims of the Chinese-controlled World Health Organization (WHO) during future pandemics.
The Biden regime is seeking “strategic dialogue” with the WHO to build an even deeper relationship.
The plan has been underway since at least September 2022, when Health and Human Services Secretary Becerra and WHO Director-General Tedros announced their “platform to maximize the longstanding U.S.-WHO partnership . . .”
The move comes amid global criticism of the WHO’s handling of the COVID pandemic.
Their organization highly encouraged government-mandated vaccinations and lockdowns that damaged the mental health of millions and have proven to have done nothing to impact the spread of the virus.
While they both say that the plan is to “protect and promote the health of all people around the globe, including the American people,” they’re actually planning to sign a “legally binding” health accord to put the WHO in charge of American health during public health emergencies.
Draft of the treaty would give “centralized” authority to WHO
The latest development in this global effort was the publication of the “zero draft.”
This document is the treaty that would give the WHO powers to declare and respond to pandemics in 194 WHO member nations.
On February 27, the WHO’s Intergovernmental Negotiating Body will meet to work out the last details of the treaty, and then it will be time for the world leaders to sign on.
A former WHO staffer told the Epoch Times that the globalists running the organization “want to see a centralized, vaccine-and-medication-based response and a very restrictive response in terms of controlling populations.”
He warned that “they get to decide what is a health emergency, and they are putting in place a surveillance mechanism that will ensure that there are potential emergencies to declare.”
The WHO’s pandemic treaty would rely on another initiative by the World Health Assembly (WHA) that would seek to create new regulations governing pandemic response that would override local laws in member states.
WHO seeks “medical police state” that would span the globe
Francis Boyle, a professor of international law at the University of Illinois, called the initiative “fatally dangerous,” and said both of these efforts “would set up a worldwide medical police state under the control of the WHO, and in particular WHO Director-General Tedros.”
“If either one or both of these go through, Tedros or his successor will be able to issue orders that will go all the way down the pipe to your primary care physicians,” Boyle said.
He further explained that these initiatives seemed to be designed to exploit weaknesses in the United States Constitution.
The treaty was “deliberately drafted . . . to circumvent the power of the Senate,” according to Boyle.
The move would effectively be an “international executive agreement.”
It even has the support of Supreme Court precedent.
In the case of United States v. Belmont, the court ruled that these “executive agreements” can be legally binding.
The treaty would take effect on a “provisional” basis if the Biden regime signs on.
It will face a tough legal battle, but it’s hard to say what the outcome will be.
