Joe Biden has a headache after this judge stepped in to protect preschool teachers

Donald Trump might not be sitting in the Oval Office, but plenty of federal judges appointed by him are hard at work unraveling Joe Biden’s overreaching mandates.

One Louisiana judge in particular seems to enjoy his work, quoting Reagan as he strikes down yet another of Biden’s mandates.

But the biggest blow for Democrats may come from knowing that another federal judge – one nominated by their biggest political idol – agrees that Biden is completely out of line.

A mandate requiring all teachers in the federal Head Start program get vaccinated has been struck down by Louisiana’s Western District Judge Terry Doughty.

“In the immortal words of President Ronald Reagan, the nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help’,” Doughty wrote.

Doughty is fully aware of the importance of what’s at stake, noting that, “The separation of powers has never been so thin.”

This is the second time Doughty has struck down one of Biden’s vaccine mandates.

And he’s not the only member of the judicial branch convinced government overreach is at play when teachers, contractors, and volunteers are forced to get vaccinations to work in a preschool program.

“I just halted another illegal fed vax & mask mandate,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Tweeted this week.

That came after Judge James Wesley Hendrix gave the state a preliminary injunction – which means, at least for now, anyone involved in the program over age two will no longer be required to wear a mask.

Head Start serves low-income children between the ages of three and five.

No doubt, it’s been boatloads of fun trying to keep masks on preschoolers.

It’s also almost entirely pointless to try to teach academic basics to young children when their voices are muffled and neither student nor teacher can see how the other’s lips are moving as they form words.

The injunction also lifts the requirement for employees to be vaccinated by the end of the month – buying those unwilling to get the jab time as the case works its way through various appeals courts.

Ironically, Justice Hendrix was nominated by Joe Biden’s old boss, former President Barack Obama, back in 2016, but the Senate never got around to confirming him.

In 2019, Trump nominated him again and he was confirmed by the Senate in an 89-1 vote.

There’s no information about why Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal cast the lone vote against his confirmation, but we can guess there are quite a few dedicated leftists in the Senate who wish they could have a do over.
