One of the top priorities of the Biden regime is to eliminate the use of fossil fuels and replace them with so-called green energy sources.
However Joe Biden and his allies have failed to make any meaningful progress on that front.
And Joe Biden couldn’t hide his utter shame after another of his signature initiatives completely fell apart.
A major embarrassment for the Biden White House
Forcing Americans to use so-called green energy sources is a top priority for President Joe Bien and his allies.
In order to achieve this difficult objective, Biden and his regime have punished many American coal and oil companies, increasing dependence on foreign energy.
Replacing coal and oil with so-called green energy is the alleged goal of the Biden regime, however, time and time again, they have failed to fulfill that promise.
Just last Monday, California-based Electric vehicle company Proterra filed for bankruptcy.
Proterra received significant support and heavy promotion from the Biden regime, which claimed that the company was a leader in the green energy sector.
Just three months into his Presidency, President Biden toured Proterra’s South Carolina facility, and later spoke about the company publicly.
“Right now we’re running way behind China, but you guys are getting us in the game,” Biden claimed. “We’re going to end up owning the future, I think, if we keep doing what we’re doing.”
“The foundation we have built has set the stage for decarbonization across the commercial vehicle industry as a whole, and we recognize the great potential in all of our product offerings to enable this important transformation,” Proterra’s CEO Gareth Joyce said.
“This is why we are taking action to separate each product line through the Chapter 11 reorganization process to maximize their independent potential,” he added.
Joyce went on to explain what caused Proterra to declare bankruptcy.
“While our best-in-class EV and battery technologies have set an industry standard, we have faced various market and macroeconomic headwinds, that have impacted our ability to efficiently scale all of our opportunities simultaneously,” Joyce said.
Many critics are already comparing Proterra’s collapse to that of Solyndra, who similarly floundered after significant investment from the Obama regime.

The truth is, many forms of so-called green energy are not nearly as green as Democrats would like you to believe.
Many electric vehicles have massive carbon footprints, and cause significantly more damage to infrastructure than their gasoline-powered counterparts.
Most energy experts will tell you that nuclear energy is the way of the future, however many Democrats are reluctant to support nuclear energy with the fear of angering their extremist base.
Instead of finding new and creative ways to bankrupt taxpayers, most Americans would agree that prioritizing American energy independence is the responsible way forward.
