Democrats have stoked resentment among disparate groups by playing identity politics to win elections.
But they didn’t count on the fact that various groups’ interests sometimes don’t all align.
Now Jen Psaki made one claim blaming Republicans for Democrats’ divisive policies that will make you laugh out loud.
Psaki: It’s Republicans’ fault that Democrats’ message sucks
Freshly installed into her new talk show host gig at MSNBC, Jen Psaki has become the hack of choice for Democrat politicians when they need a softball interview to get things rolling.
And the latest party line is that all the division that has been sown by Democrat politicians is actually, somehow, the fault of Republicans.
“So lately I’ve been noticing the reemergence of a very old GOP playbook that harkens back to President Richard Nixon’s infamous southern strategy,” Psaki claimed. “During his campaign for President in 1968, the Republican party made a concerted effort to reach white southerners, who used to vote for Democrats, by playing to their fears of African Americans and the civil rights movement. And it worked, by pitting one group of Americans against another, the GOP successfully managed to split off southern whites from the Democratic Party.”
“Now, decades later, the right wing is reviving that same playbook, this time with Muslim Americans and trans people,” she continued. “Hear me out, the GOP is trying to recruit Muslim Americans, a community that makes up less than two percent of the population, against another tiny marginalized group of Americans, transgender people.”
You see, it’s not that Democrat policies are repulsive and immoral.
What’s really at play here is that Republicans are somehow behind Muslims not wanting to pump their kids full of sterilizing drugs.
Apparently, one of the most conservative groups on Earth needed to be persuaded by Republicans that the recent woke insanity is somehow at odds with traditional Muslim values.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) found this analysis to be absolutely brilliant, and took to social media to advance the narrative.
“A brilliant commentary by @jrpsaki of how the GOP is pitting Muslim Americans against the trans community,” Khanna claimed. “They are also trying to pit African Americans against Asian Americans. They divide. But the next generation will realize Obama’s vision of a United States of America!”

Democrats just can’t bear to accept that minority groups can make their own decisions on policy and are increasingly out of sync with the preferred ideology of white woke extremists.
Luckily for Republicans, Democrats’ hard-headedness presents opportunity in future elections.
