President Joe Biden’s biggest policy failure is easily the Biden border crisis.
Biden opened the floodgates on his first day in office, and a historic, unprecedented wave of illegal aliens have marched into the country.
By some estimates the number of illegal aliens who attempted to enter the country during Biden’s time in office is a population greater than all but 19 states.
But the number of suspected border crossings is just scraping the surface of his betrayal of American sovereignty.
What President Biden is hiding from the American people is the extent to which his regime abused its parole authority to release illegal aliens into the country.
Up until May 11, Title 42 was in place, which allowed the government to expedite removal of illegal aliens back to their home country .
Biden worked around this successful policy by using the parole authority – which allows the government to permit foreign nationals entry into the U.S. on a strict case-by-case basis – to reinstate the dangerous catch and release policy.
Some experts believe the number of illegal aliens the President waved through the back door numbers as high as 1,000,000, but no one knows for certain.
That’s why Congressman James Comer (R KY) and other Republicans on the House Oversight Committee signed a letter demanding President Biden come clean with how many illegal aliens the regime allowed into the country through the parole program.
Comer hit Biden with a two week deadline to produce these numbers.
“The flagrant abuse of the parole statute is evidenced by the fact that the Biden administration has paroled over a million inadmissible aliens into the United States in just over the last two years, granting it to illegal border crossers apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents as well as inadmissible aliens presenting themselves at ports of entry after making appointments through the CBP One mobile application,” the Oversight Committee’s letter stated.
Comer and his fellow Republicans noted that Biden turned the parole program into a joke with a nearly 100% acceptance rate.
“Reports indicate that 99% of inadmissible aliens who applied for an appointment through the CBP One app were ultimately approved for parole,” the letter added. “More recently, DHS announced that it would implement a lottery-type system, meaning half of those applying for parole at ports of entry will be selected at random due to “high interest” in the program.”
Oversight Committee Republicans blasted Biden for handing illegal aliens virtual amnesty through the parole program by allowing them to stay in the country without fear of removal for years.
“Illegal aliens given unlawful categorical parole through these programs will likely live in the United States for years before they are issued a Notice to Appear (NTA) in immigration court given the massive scheduling backlogs at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) offices,” Oversight Republicans letter continued. “ICE offices across the country are backlogged for new appointments to process these aliens, in many cases for four years, with two offices fully booked through May 2028 and another fully booked through May 2029.”
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has introduced articles of impeachment against President Biden for his decision to open the border and flood the country with illegal aliens.
House Republicans believe Chairman Comer forcing Joe Biden to come clean on his regime’s abuse of the parole program to speed up the release of 1,000,000 illegal aliens into America will provide more evidence that Republicans need to act on impeachment.
