Although Democrats like to pretend that they are on the side of democracy, recent revelations show that the exact opposite is true.
For years Democrats have misled the American people with their debunked “Russia collusion” hoax.
And House Republicans just made one groundbreaking move that has Adam Schiff is crying like a baby.
House Republicans send a powerful message
On Wednesday, House Republicans voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for using Democrats’ “Russian collusion” hoax narrative for knowingly spreading lies and distortions about former President Donald Trump.
Unsurprisingly, the vote was along party lines, with 213 Republicans voting in favor and 209 Democrats voting against, along with five Republicans and six Democrats who voted present.
Only 25 Members of Congress have been censured in American history.
Now that Rep. Schiff has been officially censured, he must endure a humiliating reprimand from Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in front of the entire House.
Freshman Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) introduced the motion to censure, and also recommended that Schiff be fined $16 million as well.
Prior to the censure vote, Rep. Luna spoke on the House floor, blasting the Democrat Congressman for launching “an all-out political campaign built on baseless distortions against a sitting U.S. President, at the expense of every single citizen in this country and the honor of the House of Representatives.”
“With access to sensitive information unavailable to most members of Congress and certainly not accessible to the American people, Schiff abused his privileges, claiming to know the truth while leaving Americans in the dark about his web of lies,” she added. “Lies so severe that they altered the course of the country forever.”
Rep. Schiff responded to the censure by telling his Republican colleagues “thank you,” and claiming, “you honor me with your enmity, you flatter me with this falsehood.”
“You, who are the authors of a big lie about the last election, must condemn the truth tellers,” he added. “And I stand proudly before you. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful.”
Following the vote, House Democrats broke decorum by chanting “shame,” amongst many other disgraceful outbursts.
Schiff’s censure will change very little in Washington, D.C.
The move to censure Rep. Schiff sends a very powerful message to ruling class elites who continue to use their positions to make up falsehoods about those with whom they disagree.
But ultimately, this move will likely accomplish next to nothing moving forward.
Joe Biden and his goons are using every tool in their arsenal to silence and eliminate Republicans, and anyone else who disagrees with them, indefinitely, and they will not rest until they achieve that goal.
It is up to House Republicans to stop each and every left-wing power grab that is put in front of them.
