Harley-Davidson just went to mind-blowing lengths to narrowly avoid becoming the next Bud Light

Harley-Davidson has been synonymous with freedom and a casual disregard for authority for decades.

Unsurprisingly that made it a top target for the woke left-wing outrage mob’s efforts to inject woke extremism into every facet of human life.

But Harley-Davidson just went to mind-blowing lengths to narrowly avoid becoming the next Bud Light.

Freedom Wasn’t Happening in Milwaukee

Many Harley-Davidson fans were disappointed during the COVID pandemic that the company forced those who visited their public museum or took a factory tour to wear masks, even though there wasn’t a government mandate at that time.

“Live free or die” is the motto of many Harley riders, “mask up to come in” kept many of them out.

But this has been indicative of many of the corporate policies by company executives.

Harley-Davidson has been an iconic brand for over 118 years, but its woke policies had those at South Dakota’s legendary Sturgis Rally ready to turn on the brand earlier this month.

Over a half a million riders attend Sturgis each year, and it is the largest motorcycle rally in the country.

People became aware of the woke policies of Harley’s board of directors thanks to X user Robby Starbuck, who publicized the fact that Harley-Davidson was pushing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on its employees.

The company was requiring white males to go to diversity training sessions where they were berated for the color of their skin.

The company also began a campaign to hire and promote transgendered workers, and supported Pride events.

Harley went all-in on woke extremism in 2020, when Yohan Zeitz took over as the company’s CEO in 2020.

Since then, the value of Harley-Davidsons has declined.

Fox News reported that bikes that were $30,000 in 2019 were going for $4,000 today because riders no longer wanted to be associated with the brand.

This was rapidly becoming a Bud Light-level problem for the company.

Fox News reported that Harley fans’ issues with the company included “sending White men to White male-only diversity training; supporting legislation that “would allow men into girls’ bathrooms, sports and locker rooms”; and “an all-ages pride event that featured a ‘rage room’ next to ‘drag queen story time.'”

When word got out about the company’s woke policies, people started dumping their Harleys.

The brand’s decline was evident in the 25% drop in attendance at the Harley-Davidson homecoming event in Milwaukee earlier this year.

Did Harley-Davidson Get the Message in Time?

But this week, Harley-Davidson announced it was beginning to unravel all of its woke policies.

“We have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today,” Harley said in a statement, per CNN. “We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals.”

CNN added that “the company also said it would end its relationship with the Human Rights Campaign, a leading LGBTQ+ advocacy group.”

It also pledged to review its partnership with radical left-wing groups, and its funding for woke causes.

The company then went on to pledge that it would instead invest its time on producing the best motorcycles it could – as it should be.

This is not the first anti-woke corporate campaign that Starbuck has done.

He also exposed Tractor Supply and John Deere’s woke DEI agenda too.

Now, all three have seemingly begun to reverse course.

Hopefully, other brands will get the message before they become the next Bud Light.
