Gavin Newsom just scheduled one trip that many believe is a sure sign he is running for President in 2024

Democrats are terrified over the thought of Joe Biden running against Donald Trump in two years.

Several Democrats appear to be positioning themselves for a potential White House bid.

And Gavin Newsom just scheduled one trip that many believe is a sure sign he is running for President in 2024.

Things just keep getting worse for Joe Biden.

On Monday, The New York Times released a new poll showing Joe Biden was now the most unpopular President in American history.

Biden’s dismal approval ratings are dragging Democrats down across the board headed into the Midterm elections, where Pelosi and Schumer are defending razor-thin majorities.

When Biden visits battleground states, Democrat candidates refuse to appear in public next to him because of how damaging he is politically.

But Democrats are doing more than just distancing themselves from Joe Biden.

They’re also talking about replacing Joe Biden with someone else in 2024.

And one Democrat official is making moves that give the appearance he is planning to run for President in two years.

Gavin Newsom targets Trump and DeSantis

California Gavin Newsom appears to be attempting to draw national attention to himself ahead of 2024.

He previously signed up for Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform, where he ranted about how GOP-led states have the highest murder rate.

After he trolled Donald Trump, Newsom then set his sights on Ron DeSantis.

On Independence Day, Newsom dropped $105,000 in Florida on an ad attacking Ron DeSantis on Fox News.

Since Trump and DeSantis are the top two contenders for the Republican nomination, Newsom’s ad buy in Florida led many to believe he is preparing a White House run in 2024.

Gavin Newsom heads to Washington, D.C.

With Joe Biden overseas in the Middle East, Gavin Newsom saw an opening for him to mingle in the Washington, D.C. Swamp and gauge the atmosphere for a run in 2024.

On Wednesday, the Associated Press reported that Gavin Newsom was heading to Washington, D.C. for a four-day trip at the same time Joe Biden was visiting the Middle East.

Newsom is headed to Washington, D.C. to accept an award for education, which is ironic given California ranks 44th in educational outcomes.

“As California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom heads to Washington this week, speculation about his national political ambitions won’t be far behind,” the AP reported.

“The four-day swing, anchored to an award Newsom will receive on behalf of his home state Wednesday from an education group, will provide the Democratic governor with a national stage to continue his outspoken defense of abortion rights and gun restrictions,” the AP continued.

Newsom is planning to meet with Congressional leaders and officials from the Biden administration during his visit.

“This is Gavin Newsom building his national brand for whatever opportunities might come up in the future,” said Thad Kousser, a political science professor at the University of California, San Diego.

“He’s savvy enough to know a lot of dominoes would have to fall for his future to come in 2024, but that makes it even more vital to take every opportunity to stay in the national consciousness for 2028 and beyond,” Kousser added.

Like every other potential Democrat candidate, Gavin Newsom claims he is not running for President in 2024.

But just like Biden has to claim he is running for re-election, Newsom and other Democrats have to claim they aren’t running for President.

If Biden gave the appearance he was stepping aside or if it looked like a civil war was brewing in the Party for 2024, it would render him a lame-duck President.

And Biden is already too weak for Democrats to take that chance.
