A key tenet of Communism has always been to change history, change culture, and change the truth into lies.
Erasing the truth and replacing it with Communist dogma is one of the ways they are able to take and keep power.
But Franklin Graham had just two words for Communist Chinese attempts to rewrite the Bible into this perverted version.
Reverend Franklin Graham reacted strongly to news of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) plans to “rewrite” the Bible over the next decade.
God’s Word never changes
Graham made clear what most professing Christians know – that God’s Word “never changes, no matter how hard the devil tries.”
“The Chinese Communist Party has a 10-year plan to rewrite the Bible,” Graham wrote in a Tweet recently. “All I can say is — Good luck.”
“The Bible warns about the serious consequences of adding to or taking away from the Word of God,” he added. “God’s Word never changes, no matter how hard the devil tries,” he added.

The respected son of world-renowned Evangelist Billy Graham was reacting to media stories that the Chinese Communist Party is actively working on a ten-year plan to rewrite the Bible and other religious texts.
And a possible sneak preview of what a rewritten Bible with Communist characteristics might look like appeared in a CCP university textbook back in 2020.
The textbook rewrites the Gospel of John to have a completely new, and disturbing ending.
For example, in the Gospel of John, Jesus confronts the accusers of a woman caught committing adultery, saying “let the one among you who is guiltless be the first to throw a stone at her.”
The accusers all slither away and Jesus says to the woman, “‘Has no one condemned you?’ ‘No one, sir,’ she replied. ‘Neither do I condemn you,’ said Jesus. ‘Go away, and from this moment sin no more.'”
This passage is a key passage explaining the forgiveness and mercy of God.
But in the Communist Chinese textbook, the passage doesn’t end with mercy, but rather, with Jesus stoning the adulterous woman to death.
Serving the party instead of God
Across mainland Communist China, local CCP officials have already forced Protestant churches to replace the Ten Commandments with Xi Jinping quotes.
Instead of “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me,” They have the Xi quote, “Resolutely guard against the infiltration of Western ideology.”
The 10-year project to rewrite the Bible is a key part of Xi Jinping’s quest to make faithful Chinese Christians serve the Communist Party instead of God.
Chairman Xi has even declared “We will… insist on the sinicization of Chinese religions and provide active guidance for religion and socialism to coexist.”
In other words, Xi has no problem with the Ten Commandments as long as he and the CCP replace God in the commandments.
Graham, and other protestant leaders, are rightly incensed by the usurping of God’s word by the Communist Chinese.
But not all so-called “Christians” are as upset about it.
And in fact, some are even a party to it.
Pope Francis accepts CCP authority over Church leadership
You might expect the Catholic Church, the largest Christian congregation in the world, to be furious and ready to fight.
Unfortunately, you’d be very wrong.
According to Fox News, “In a secret 2018 negotiation, the Vatican agreed to allow the CCP to select Catholic bishops in China, supposedly in exchange for vague reassurances of “safety” for some Catholic congregations which were immediately abrogated.”
“The CCP wants the authority to select the next Dalai Lama, a sacred tradition in Tibetan Buddhism,” the report added. “Tibetan Buddhists are attempting to stand up to CCP coercion, but Beijing counters that even Pope Francis, leader of the mighty Catholic Church, accepts their authority over Church leadership.”
The CCP wants nothing less than to replace Christ and make their authority over Chinese citizens the highest authority there is.
All Christians must follow Franklin Graham’s lead and oppose this attempt to destroy Christianity.
