Fani Willis flew off the handle after Jim Jordan drew a line in the sand with this ultimatum

Things haven’t gone as smoothly for Fani Willis and her witch hunt against Donald Trump as she would’ve liked.

Embarrassing revelations of conflicts of interest, corruption, and even perjury have come to light against her and she is clearly riled up.

And now Fani Willis flew off the handle after Jim Jordan drew a line in the sand with this ultimatum.

Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis is facing a slew of complaints and Congressional investigations.

It’s becoming clearer by the day that like most within the ruling class, she simply doesn’t believe she should ever be questioned or challenged in any way, shape, or form.

While her office has used a $488,000 taxpayer-funded federal grant, there are questions concerning just what the money has actually been used for.

A whistleblower came forward and claimed that the money was being used for “frivolous, unrelated expenses,” including “Macbooks… swag… travel.”

Curiously, when the woman making these claims talked to Willis about all of this, she was unceremoniously terminated.

This is just the latest wrinkle that has caught the attention of House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Jordan took aim at Willis for attacking the woman, and called out the fact that she hasn’t turned over documents related to the whistleblower.

Jordan demands answers

He also put Willis on notice that due to her stonewalling, he would consider Contempt of Congress proceedings.

That really set her off, and she threw a tantrum.

In response to Rep. Jordan’s assertion that Contempt proceedings may not be far off, Willis wrote, “I am in receipt of your letter dated March 14, 2024. I categorically reject the assertion that this office is deficient in responding to the Committee’s subpoena dated February 2, 2024.”

“As you note in your letter, we have already provided you with substantial information about our programs that are funded via federal grants,” she continued. “Further, as I expressed to you in my letter dated February 23, 2024, this office is in the process of producing relevant documents to you on a rolling basis and is undertaking a good faith approach to provide you with responsive information about our federal grant funding.”

There’s a lot of bluster here, but no mention of the specifics of what Jordan was asking for, namely the documents related to the whistleblower.

Of course, we wouldn’t know that a Democrat is scraping the bottom of the barrel to defend their actions unless they played the race card, and here, Willis does not disappoint.

Willis cries “racist” to distract from her wrongdoing

“My family, my staff and I have been threatened repeatedly by people making violent, often racist, attacks,” she added. “Neither those threats, nor anything your colleagues and you say or do, will deter us from fulfilling our duty to bring this case to trial.”

Willis has already been warned by the judge presiding over her Trump witch hunt about blaming criticism for her misdeeds and unprofessional actions on “racism,” even going so far to threaten her with a gag order.

It also doesn’t satisfy what Rep. Jordan is seeking.

All indications are that Fani Willis may well be in more frustrating times ahead if – or possibly when – Jim Jordan follows through on Contempt of Congress proceedings.
