Democrats and their media allies all wanted to believe that Donald Trump was guilty.

But the truth has staggered them.

And Donald Trump was just proven innocent in this stunning political crime.

The backbone of the “Russia collusion” hoax was a January 6, 2017, intelligence community assessment claiming Russian President Vladimir Putin meddled in the 2016 election with the express purpose of electing former President Donald Trump.

During the campaign, a key policy difference between Trump and former First Lady Hillary Clinton was Trump’s unwillingness to start World War III with Russia over Syria.

Clinton supported a “no fly zone,” which meant Americans planes would need to shoot down Russian fighters over Syria, leading to a shooting war between the world’s two largest nuclear powers.

Trump also questioned the NATO alliance and European members’ unwillingness to meet the stated goal of paying 2% of GDP for national defense.

This led to Clinton’s accusations during the campaign that Trump was Putin’s puppet.

After the election, Democrats’ “Russia collusion” narrative kicked into high gear with the assessment about Putin’s intentions during the 2016 election, and the release of the thoroughly debunked Steele dossier.

But three investigative journalists allege that just like the Steele dossier, the intelligence community assessment that Putin wanted Trump to win was a hoax.

Journalists Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, and Alex Gutengag published a bombshell piece accusing Obama CIA Director John Brennan of cooking the books on the assessment when the reality was there was intelligence indicating Putin preferred Clinton to Trump.

“They cooked the intelligence,” says a source close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia scandal, whose full findings are being blocked from release. “They made it look like Putin supported Trump,” the source added. “The evidence points the other way,” Shellenberger, Taibbi and Gutengag wrote.

A source explained to the three journalists how Brennan allegedly manipulated the intelligence to arrive at the most politically helpful conclusion.

“Former CIA Director John Brennan and the ICA authors ‘embellished’ their conclusion by upgrading unreliable sources to reliable,” the source told the three journalists. “They upgraded in the writing of their report to let those sources have more credibility and a higher rating. We caught them on 3-4 items where those people didn’t have a credible historic reporting line and changed the source rating for that Brennan report.”

“The source explained that the group working on the assessment had intelligence in which Putin called Trump ‘mercurial,’ ‘unreliable,’ and ‘not steady,’” the report added.

In contrast, Putin believed Clinton was “manageable and reflecting continuity. It was a relationship they were comfortable with.”

The source added that “there was no real evidence that Russia supported Trump. They were trying to make this bizarre case.”

Trump called the “Russia collusion” narrative a hoax from day one.

And he was right.

Should Democrat “Russia collusion” hoaxers face criminal charges?
