Right after Joe Biden took office the price of nearly everything skyrocketed.

The cost of living crisis is hammering working class Americans most of all.

And now Donald Trump made one campaign promise that has working class Americans downright giddy.

Biden-Harris Policies Drive Up Prices

The price of gas has increased dramatically during the Biden-Harris regime.

It is estimated that gasoline is 45% higher and natural gas is 43% higher during Biden-Harris than during Trump’s time in office.

This has a ripple effect through the entire economy because it increases the costs of transporting goods and services.

People started putting stickers of Biden on gas pumps reminding people that “he did that.”

Instead of allowing for more drilling and refining in the U.S., the Biden-Harris regime instead pushed radical left-wing agenda items, such as the Green New Deal, which tried to push electric vehicles on people.

Energy prices were obviously lower during the Trump administration as he allowed the American oil and gas industry to maximize their supply, thereby bringing prices down.

Now, Trump has released his energy policies for his potential second administration during a rally in Michigan, where he promised to cut energy costs in half.

Just by rolling back the Biden-Harris regime’s policies, it will allow for more power plants and drilling, as well as the elimination of red-tape and regulations, which will make costs go down.

Because of Democrats’ obsession with reducing the so-called “carbon footprint,” the U.S. has closed down coal fired plants.

And because leftists have a knee jerk rejection of nuclear energy, we have been reduced to using expensive and unreliable wind turbines.

Energy Drives the Economy

Former Interior Secretary David Bernhardt was part of the unveiling of Trump’s energy policy.

He reminded the press that everything that is made requires energy.

Under Trump’s plan, Bernhardt predicted, “every manufacturing plant, every data center, every semiconductor facility and assembly line will want to be built in America — because America will be the place where the cost of energy is lower than anywhere else on Earth.”

The U.S. is facing a shortfall of nearly 30% in meeting its energy demands because the Biden-Harris regime shut off using coal.

That means things can’t be built in the U.S., and the price of energy goes up, and then the price of everything starts to skyrocket.

The Biden-Harris regime has shut down not only coal but pipelines, refining and drilling, which has made America more dependent on foreign sources of energy.

Biden even tapped into the federal oil reserve before the 2022 election in an effort to lower gas prices.

The reserve was stocked during the Trump administration when oil prices were lower.

Kamala Harris has yet to release a comprehensive energy policy, though she is claiming that she now supports fracking, a policy that she vehemently opposed until she started running for President and realized that she needed to win Pennsylvania in order to win the election.
